  We enjoyed this visit and learnt a lot. You are given a small audio guide in your chosen language and each display or attraction had a number on that you put it against and learnt information from. There was a chocolate demonstration and chocolate to taste. Well worth a visit.

  Hello, We arrived a little early with my class group and we were not well received. The reception lady reprimanded me in front of my students when I simply wanted to ask a question. They were very shocked... Fortunately, we were able to get through a little earlier than expected, and we were also able to combine a ticket with the French fries museum which is really great. Be careful, there are a lot of didactic games that don't work in the museum. There are no more costumes for the souvenir photo. The host people don’t know how to answer the questions my students ask. Notably the date of the opening of the museum... (year). And unfortunately, I had to claim to have the demonstration of praline, because the gentleman was not there at the scheduled times on the sign ... I find the atmosphere “deteriorating” greatly from year to year. It’s a shame because there’s huge learning potential for our students. Looking forward to returning in a better atmosphere...

  We stayed at the Chocolate Museum with our children. Cute visit, chocolate button tasting at the beginning and end of the view. The most interesting part was the practical demonstration on how to make chocolates .. delicious!!!

  

  

  

• Great for young & young at heart alike

  2 of us went (age 55/19) and both of us found it fun & educational without being boring. It was about €14 for adult but young adults are cheaper. You don’t get loads of choc to taste, but it was enough given that it is free and nice quality. It recommends 1:30hr but I would allow a bit longer if you like playing games. We cd have easily spent 2hrs there as we had to rush ourselves towards the end as we were on a tight timescale. There are lots of interactive games to play as you go round which only let you have one go each which is fair. It was quite quiet when we went (10:15 on a Thursday) and we had no problem seeing everything including the chocolate demonstration & the short film. Everything is very accessible for English speakers and the audio guide was great. Some of the numbers to follow were harder to find than others, but we liked that & we were racing each other to find them. The gift shop is small but nice, The toilets were very clean, they have an area to leave bulky bags ( not supervised though) Booked a jnt ticket with the Friet Museum (opposite & recommended) and got a discount. The Manequin Pis is right near it so tick that off while you are there. I would definitely recommend this if you are in Brussels.

  The audio guide is a great way to learn more in the museum, however mine only worked OK the fact placards and didn't work on any of the activity centers. You get 2 chocolate tastes- dark or milk chocolate barrels. If you attend a chocolate demonstration you will get a third tasting. I walked slow and whole museum took 45 minutes. If you have spare time to go, it had interesting points, but otherwise your time is better spent exploring Brussels

  Way more informative than I'd imagined! Cute museum, love that you can move at your own pace. We all had a great time and the chocolate samples were sooo good!

  Cute and very interesting museum. Well structured audio guide, although in some places it was not working. Only sin too many people. On days when too much attendance is expected they should limit attendance, preferring a reservation system.

  Great time with children (4, 8, 12yo) With each one I audio guide, the little one had fun looking for the numbers to listen to the stories... and the 2 big ones appreciated the explanations. Only downside, many people the day we were there, the windows not accessible to see As a bonus an explanation and demonstration on the making of a praline with tasting. And small chocos in self-service during the visit! Thank youiii
