Learn all about chocolate !
Dive into the history of the brown gold and discover the Mayans, who were the first to cultivate cocoa. Come aboard the Cortes ship that brought cocoa to Europe. Discover how cocoa is transformed into chocolate. Taste different types of chocolate and, at the end of the visit, watch a demonstration of how the famous Belgian praline is made by hand.
Audioguide (11 languages), tasting and demonstration included.
More than 600 objects related to cocoa and chocolate are exhibitted.
The museum is located in the city center of Brussels, in front of Manneken Pis.

Choco-story Brussels
A master chocolate-maker will prepare pralines right in front of you. Tasting chocolate is of course a part of the tour and there is a shop for those of you who want more! As the visitor walks through the different exhibition rooms, he can learn the history of this precious commodity, from its origins to its transformation as a finished product. Samples of chocolate can be tasted during the visit and you can watch a demonstration given by our master chocolate-maker. Visitors are free to wander around the museum on their own or accompanied by a guide. Choco-Story Brussels was created in May 2014 when the two families Van Belle and Van Lierde united their efforts for the continual promotion of quality Belgian chocolate by opening their excellent educational, gourmet and great fun museum to the public.

5.00A great experience overall. A lot of history and you will learn a lot. The chocolate tasting is delicious. The short videos were informative. We came in at the end of the cooking demonstration but what we saw was cool, unfortunately he wasn't speaking English so we didn't know what he was saying.

Could be appreciated by young and old Lots of information available via audio guide, video, touch screen, static displays and demonstration - up to you how much you take in. Everything from early beginnings to the chocolate bar we know today. Starting with the pod growing on the tree all the stages in making the chocolate we buy and enjoy. Platform lifts made it possible for wheel chair users to see everything.

4.00The history is very interesting and the presentation by the young lady on how to make the chocolates was very pleasant, very delicious. The only thing to improve is the interactive games that do not always work when activated with the radio.

5.00This tour is very informative; they explain the entire process from planting, collection, harvesting, and production, and you learn a lot! I recommend it!
Very comprehensive on the history of chocolate. Only downside, some audio guide stations require going back. A must-visit!

5.00I would like to give this museum 10 stars... Done very well, the audio guide is in Italian, there are many interactive activities and games for children but above all an unparalleled tasting of white chocolate, milk 3 dark chocolate and a fantastic demonstration of how to prepare pralines with subsequent tasting... Absolutely recommended!

5.00We had a day at Choco with our staff . All enjoyed learning about how chocolate is made from the Cacao beans . You get to try chocolates and there was a demonstration of making praline which you can try . All enjoyed the visit .
