Our day at Roatan's tropical island starts with a sightseeing experience enjoying the lush island and exploring from the cruise port or resort to the panoramic hill, a perfect place for 180 degrees photo, you will view Coxen Hole village from the hill also the opportunity for local craft market shopping. After this stop is time to drive to the west area of the island for our first tasting experience at the Chocolate factory, we will enjoy multiple yummy samples. After we will pass by the famous "Rusty Fish" to view/purchase incredible recycle products.
Our guide will escort you to the Rum & Cake factory for another unique local tasting experience with delicious cake samples. On our way back we will stop at the Roatan color sign for group/family fun photos and selfies, wooo!

5.00I visited not as part of the tour but the Factory itself. It was very good, the tour guide and the tastes! It was not full sugar with 5% cacao but the opposite. Healthy. :P It was exciting to see the exact small factory also, the whole process. The cafe shop was nice too, the cocoa drink was more 'watery' as expected but still OK. The staff there was nicer to the cruisers than to me... I felt myself a bit discriminated, however I also bought some stuff. Upstairs the Team is superstar!

4.00Our driver Aneal was very good and very informative. The problem with the tour is, we learned nothing about making rum. It was just a place to sell you something. Disappointed! The chocolate factory you did learn a little about how it is made. Once again just a shopping. If you want to go on a tour to spend money, this is the trip for you. Otherwise do something else.

5.00Very friendly made us feel un rushed learned so much about island and life here . CHOCOLATE and Rum factories were informative and good prices. Plenty of photo ops. Guide Shona was very good .. will use them again.

5.00We booked the monkey sanctuary, rum And chocolate factory and west beach private tour with Roatán Five Stars. JB was our tour guide and absolutely made the day and tour with his knowledge of the island, patience and organisational skills. The communication and confirmation during the booking process and the night before the trip Was excellent and we felt confident that everything would be legitimate for the trip In advance. Meeting point directions was easy and the transport was comfy and well air conditioned. I would absolutely recommend this company and JB, he was just the best and the reason we would Definitely book again. Thanks JB and Roatan Five Stars.

5.00Great for family of 5. MIni van to ourselves. Josel Diaz was a great tour guide. We wanted to shop and see the island. We went from one end of the island to the other. I saw one bad review and they are correct. There really is no rum or chocolate factories to see but the shops are nice. The Rum shop has great view from back porch. It was our first time with a private tour. Lots of other companies asking you if you want a tour on the way out but if you tell them you have one booked already they will leave you alone. They were all very polite and not very pushy. One of them actually helped us find our guide.

5.00Roatan Five Stars has an excellent reputation as the reason for choosing this excursion. Being a solo female traveler, safety is of the upmost importance. I recieved a private tour of the island by Olga, a long time resident and staff member. Knowledgeable and responsive are words that describe her. I felt safe and saw many sites. Thank you, Olga!

5.00Remy was great. We did two tours with him. First visiting the sloths/ and little French key, chocolate and rum factory another day. He was very knowledgeable and friendly would definitely recommend.

5.00After leaving the safety of the port o meet our driver I was a little uneasy with the madness of it all. Olga removed all this and made me and my family feel so welcome and safe. Roatan is a hidden gem and Olga showed us the best sites on our whistle stop tour. I can't recommend her and the company highly enough. We loved Bananarama (ask for the Banaramacocktail) great venue.
