5.00An absolute masterpiece of a tour that exceeded every expectation! If you are looking for an exceptional way to experience Zürich, look no further. I did this chocolate tasting walking tour today, and it was truly remarkable from start to finish. Going in, I anticipated a lovely afternoon of walking through Zürich and tasting sweets, but the experience completely surpassed my expectations. Our wonderful guide, Vesi (I know I spelled that wrong), was absolutely phenomenal. He beautifully paired some of the fascinating historical context about Zürich with the captivating backstories behind each artisanal chocolate shop we visited. His passion and expertise made the entire walk engaging and thoroughly educational. As for the tastings themselves, they were incredibly generous. If you have ever wondered whether it is possible to hit a limit with chocolate, the answer is undoubtedly yes. Several boutiques offered unlimited samples of some of the most exquisite, high-quality chocolates I have ever encountered. Every time I thought I had the absolute best thing I’ve ever eaten. That was my favorite thing, we went to a new shop and something there blew my mind. The sheer variety of premium chocolates, topped off with the artisanal gelato, makes this tour an outstanding value. To put it into perspective, I recently spent ten days in Croatia enjoying gelato daily, and the gelato shop on this tour far surpassed that quality. Frankly, it was superior to any gelato I have had in Italy as well. This tour is a flawless blend of culture, history, and indulgence. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough!

5.00A great Introduction to Zurich, Swiss culture, and Swiss Chocolates. Every sample was better than the next. By the end, I am sure I was in a chocolate coma. Vasior (sp?) was our guild and he did a great job keeping the tour interesting and light hearted.

5.00If you love chocolate, this is your tour! Our tour guide Vasi was fantastic! He was so much fun! Told a lot of stories about the history of chocolate and the family chocolatiers. Thoroughly enjoyed Vasi & the tour. You won’t go hungry for chocolate!

5.00I booked this last minute and so glad I did. This was an exceptional tour, Vasi was funny and knowledgeable. I haven't eaten that much chocolate in a long time. This tour wasn't just about chocolate, it was about history, fun facts, salacious gossip and an intimate peek into life in Switzerland. 10/10, highly recommend.

5.00Vanessa was fantastic!! She was highly knowledgeable about the various chocolates and the different companies. Along with the chocolate tour, Vanessa also provided us with an informative historical tour of Zurich, including Old Town. I would strongly recommend this walking and tasting tour.

5.00The Walking Chocolate Tour with Ultimate Ways was fantastic, and Daisy was an exceptional guide. Despite the challenge of most chocolate shops being closed for Labor Day in Zurich, she handled the situation seamlessly. Only three stores were open, but Daisy came fully prepared with samples from all the featured chocolatiers, so we didn’t feel like we missed out at all. As we walked through the city, she shared fascinating insights into Zurich’s history and its deep connection to chocolate-making, which made the experience even more engaging. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and adaptability truly made the tour special. Even without visiting every store, it was an amazing and memorable experience that I would highly recommend. And we agree the Swiss have the best chocolate!

Our guide shared facts about chocolate and different shops, history and cultural details about Zurich and Switzerland, showcased local art, and satiated us with just the right amount of chocolate over the course of two hours. We all worried it would be too much chocolate or too much walking for my older mom, but it was perfect all around. I’d highly recommend this tour!
