This is an outdoor tour. Benefit Street is a very old street, therefore the sidewalks can be uneven. Travelers must be able to walk for ninety minutes or have a mobility device they can comfortably navigate in moderately uneven terrain (side walks, roads that are a mixture of cement, brick, and cobble stone).
Some guests using wheelchairs/mobility devices have found Benefit Street and the subsequent sidewalks accessible, while others find it challenging. We recommend going to Benefit Street in advance of a tour to determine if it is appropriate for your level of comfort and needs.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
The Players At Barker Playhouse
Learn the history of the cemetery beside the theater and how Providence's earliest colonists celebrated the holiday.
