  Pretty poor First bus the audio didn’t work Pretty dirty buses Staff rude in some buses Two stops they didn’t go to and skipped, one of which we needed for our accommodation As we got off at the end some random woman chatting up the driver was rude to us about the stop they had skipped ( synagogue! ) Side note - Despite this to say- when we bought the 4 tickets which aren’t cheap- the guy selling was extremely nice and kind and fab English

  We booked the Hop-On Hop-Off city tour in Budapest with City Sightseeing as a group of four, hoping it would be an easy and enjoyable way to see the city. However, the overall organisation and service were disappointing. The buses were heavily overbooked, with passengers left standing on the lower deck, seats not guaranteed in the terms and conditions. This made the experience feel more like a crowded transfer service than a sightseeing tour. The most frustrating part came when a small incident involving a broken driver’s mirror led to us being asked to disembark and proceed to the next stop. Unfortunately, the next buses were already full. There was no apology, no attempt to assist, and no offer of a refund or alternative solution. The response from staff was indifferent, which left us feeling poorly treated as customers. Overall, a very disappointing experience that fell short in both organisation and customer care.

  The bus was comfy and quite empty. It runs very often and covers most of the famous places in Budapest. However the English guide in our earphones seems to be missing s bits if sentence or didn't quite live up to our expectations.

  Worse experience in Budaoest. Used hop on hop over buses all over Europe but this one was an experience i hope to never experience again. Buses where busy which you can expect but to have people standing on the bus was not acceptable, more buses are need to run more often especially in the upcoming summer months when there are more tourists. Children and old age pensions being forced to stand in the aisle and crammed in like sardines in a can, u able to listen to the commentary that the had paid for. Was told to get off one bus which pulled up behind 3 others and told to get on the front one but unable to as it was already jammed. Definitely ot a way to run a company and its not as if it was cheap Will need er use this company again

  Having used this company in other countries, Budapest bus trip was disappointing: most of the bus stops were unmarked ( hard to find), seats needed cleaning, to be told to hop off bus as team were having a break with 3 other buses already parked up with there passengers on the street, when finally back on a fully packed bus, waited for 10 mins in 30 degrees, all this happened while the four bus team stood outside and chatted and ate- no communication unless we asked. Also appears to be an opportunity for better organization of team breaks

  Amazing experience. Buses took you to good locations, interesting information on the earphones with jazz music in between was quite relaxing! We never would have been able to experience all the sights without this and good value for money. You would pay a lot more doing it on your own! Maybe lucky timing, but we never had to wait more than 6 minutes for a bus. There was heavy traffic on 1 day which made the journey longer but no fault of the company.

  We did the 2-day tour in beautiful Budapest. The buses were NEVER on time, there was constant traffic jam in the city. Buses are not too crowded but the seating is old and felt dirty. Guide could have been a lot louder and perhaps they should reconsider the pricing. Not really worth it.

• Overpriced and poor quality; simply spend ages waiting!

  Overpriced, buses infrequent and often left sitting waiting on the bus or standing in the street waiting. Buses often too full to get on. Very hard to see value in this. Very expensive for what you end up getting. You would save a lot of time and money using public transport and taxis.

  The worst hop on hop off experience we have ever had. The commentary does not align with the sites. Many jacks do not work. We were listening to English via the German setting. Pools of water on seat with no paper towels to mop the water up. Heavy breaking when people were still climbing stairs, a very no care attitude. The routes on the brochure do not align with the actual routes, but no one tells you this. You can use both Big Bus and Hop on Hop off, but again, no one tells you this. We waited 45 minutes at one stop, a bus never came. The signage on the street is terrible. DO NOT WASTE YOYR MONEY!!

• Not regular long breaks at stops

  Kicked off a bus whilst driver had a break and waited ages for another one. Different day sat at a stop to watch driver have his lunch for 20 minutes. Stops are almost impossible to recognise and they are not shown clearly on either the map or app. Good thing is that you can also get on big bus company with same ticket
