  Unable to get on any bus due to oversold situation. Was at stop 1 early and first two buses that by were full and never stopped. Suggested to walk to stop 8 were busses started their route. At stop 8 was over 100 people waiting to board and the first three buses came full and only a few people got off each bus. Calculated it would take three hours before we could board at that rate

  How can this be a good option to buy a 24 hour ticket when the timetable is valid for 6 hours (10.50-17.00) and in the middle of disappears 1.5 hour also because the driver takes lunch. You only get less than 5 hours but they advertise that you can go for 24 hours. If you take the first trip at 10.50 and then the last at 17.00 you can not go any more because the next trip starts the day after 10.50 and then your 24 hours have passed. This must be a disgrace or extremely bad marketing.

  Convenient way to get around. Busses were crowded because of horrible rain storms but plenty of seating in the lower level

  Once again it was rainy we did do the entire tour but rain will take alot out of ya I love doing hoho even if I have other excursions you know what your getting into

  We had bought tickets for the tour in Gothenburg. The bus would run between 10.30 and 16.00, and the day before, we had tried to find the stops, so we knew where the bus would arrive. At 10:20, we stood at one of the two stops we found, but after 90 minutes, the bus had still not appeared. So we left. Inside their timetable the times had changed. There was also a small group of Germans, who had also been tired of waiting, who also went. At some point we finally see the bus and rush to it. However, it did not run provisionally, as there was a break for 20 minutes. The bus driver had closed the door so we couldn't get into the bus. So we chose to go again and give up coming. This is the first time we have experienced such poor planning, at a Hop on - Hop off bus.

  This was one of the worst excursions I have ever taken. Our ticket said the bus tour started at point 1 at 10:30. We arrived at 10:10. The bus didn’t show up until 11:10. At that time it was full. There were no seats available, so no audio was available. We got off at the mall stop. We returned to the pickup point about an hour later only to be told there was no bus service for the next hour as it was a lunch break. The last bus departed at 2:15. This tour was not worth the money. I do not recommend it.

  Pathetic. I am on vacation. I book a Viator ticket and pay for it. On the day of travel my wife falls sick . I know the rules say " No cancellation with 24 Hrs" I agree. Its only fair. But when your tour buses are going half empty can you not accommodate me on the next day when I request ?? Instead I have to loose the entire amount ... I know contractually you are right. But you dont win customers with contracts . Its with genuine compassion. I thought Viator had it. Looks like I am mistaken.

  Hop on Hop off is a fabulous way to sight see the city.. bus was on time and very accessible. I would definitely choose Viator again!

• Too many passengers and not enough busses!

  The route was fine. However this should not be scheduled when there is a cruise ship in town as there were not enough buses to accommodate the passengers. Passengers had to stand up on the buses which were packed like sardines. In addition, all drivers take their lunch break at the exact same time leaving about a 1-1/2 hour wit during their lunch. We were told they took lunch from 12:00 - 1:00 but they actually took it from 1:00 - 2:00. This threw our plans off entirely. The Hop On Hop Off tours in other cities I’ve visited have been much better.

  Terrible experience. Buses did not run as promised, were very infrequent and extremely late. I will be requesting a total refund.
