Live an unforgettable experience in the first capital of Greece that is considered to be one of the most beautiful and romantic cities of Greece!

During this amazing walking tour in the city of Nafplio we learn about its long history as we wander in the picturesque alleys with the neoclassical mansions and Venetian balconies. Accompanied by a local tour leader we visit the most important archaeological sites, we search for traces of the Franks, Venetians and Ottomans in the architecture of the city and we enjoy the characteristics scents of the jasmines and basils.

Our tour set off from the Tourist information Kiosk. Our Guide was Aristi, she was knowlegeable and informitive, explaining everything at specific spots in the old city. We visted areas at street level prior to going up some steps then in a lift to the Fortress of Akronauplía. Walking down again and finilly finishing up at the old city gate. Overall a great tour and just the right amount of information so you could remember what you had been told.
