Meeting point at the Green Store at 7:00 pm for the first trip or 8:00 pm for the second trip.

Before arriving in Vieques you must purchase a round trip ferry ticket. You can return the same night to Ceiba P.R. if you choose the first tour and reserve taxi transportation from the bio bay to the ferry terminal. Otherwise, you must book overnight accommodations in Vieques until the next ferry boat the following day.

The team took too much time to get in the water and brought us back in 15 minutes. By the time the guide got in water there were people who were about to miss the last ferry. It was honestly a waste of money for us.
Bad experience - never made it to bio bay.

Transportation shuttle had a hole in the floor - could see the road. There were no clear bottom kayaks. No safety lights for anyone. Due to how long it took them to get WAY too many people in kayaks, the tour only made it halfway to the bioluminescent bay. We had to turn around, due to time - as half the group needed to catch the last ferry back to main island. Very disappointing. Poorly run, lots of miscommunication. Choose a different Bio Bay tour company!

It was totally waste of money. They didn’t have kayaks for everyone. We sat 3 people, even I paid separately for every one. No guide where to go and we almost lost in the night. No one showed anything
Do not go here, very dangerous and unprofessional.

I would give this experience 0 stars if I could. As soon as we walk to the docking area, we are handed paddles, life jackets, and made to sit in the kayak with no instructions. On top of that, we barely saw any bioluminescence. Definitely not worth it especially if you have not kayaked before!!

We came to Vieques for just the day, so we booked the 6:30 pm tour. They picked us up promptly at 6:30 at the green store. We took a short drive through a very bumpy road. We had ample time out on the water. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable. It was a magical experience! They were very considerate of us getting back in time to catch the ferry. We had plenty of time on the water without being rushed. They brought us back to the green store with ample time to stop and get ice cream before heading to the ferry. We had a personal tour guide for the day who provided transportation for us to the ferry. This group does not. You also will get wet. The kayaks themselves are slightly wet but when you paddle water gets in your kayak.

Our guide was super nice, we met at the The Green Store and they transported us through this extremely bumpy road. When we got there we immediately were loaded into our respective kayaks and followed our guide into the lagoon. Very easy trek, no extensive traversing through the mangrove forest like the tour in Fajardo. Good for all ages as long as one is an adult in the kayak able to paddle. The bioluminescence was visable almost immediately and was so bright!! It’s was super cool to see them light up under the clear bottom of the kayak and anytime a fish swam by the plankton clung to it and actually made the fish appear to be glowing too!! Our guide was very informative about the area and told us how pirates used to hide in the bay because of the bioluminescence!

The bioluminescent bay is a must see. I would not recommend our vendor. The bus transporting us to the bay felt very unsafe - non-functional seat belts, windshield wipers, and marginal headlights. The driver, who was also the guide, said he picked up patrons from multiple concessionaires. So our vendor just dealt with the sales end and has no oversight on other facets of the experience. Next time I'll wait until I'm on the island to find a more reputable service provider.
