5.00We booked the 2-hour kayak rental on the single kayaks. Check-in was easy, and they provided everything we needed for the trip. The kayaks were in good shape. We didn’t see much wildlife, but we did find some shells on the beach. In hindsight, I think we would have learned more by doing a guided tour—live and learn!

Our group of ten arrived at their launch point near Big Hickory Island as walk-ups without reservations, and the staff was polite and accommodating. They quickly outfitted us and had us in the water in no time. Their efficiency and friendliness made for an enjoyable outing.
