  We had an absolute cracker of a walk with Cearbhuil , albeit in winds that were hitting 50kph. Her knowledge and passion for what she does and her homeland were unparalleled and her level of attention above and beyond expectation (even to the point of Cearbhuil scaling the electric fence to retrieve my sun glasses blown off in the wind!!!)

  We had a fantastic walking tour of the Cliffs of Moher. Cearbhuil, our guide was warm, knowledgeable and made the whole experience memorable with her stories and local insight. The scenery was breathtaking and the tour was one of the highlights of our Ireland trip. Highly recommend! Lynda & Ian Stewart. AUSTRALIA.

  Was a great exercise and a lot of fun. Made the experience personal and was off the beaten path. Freya was a great guide and very personable. Got amazing photos!

  What a lovely experience! Tour guide (Freya) was very informative and friendly. Did a great job talking with each guest and making them feel comfortable; she took the time to give us recommendations on where to go in other cities for the rest of our trip. The hike is relatively flat, not very strenuous. And the views were “fierce” as the Irish folk say, a much less touristy experience than we otherwise would have had. Would definitely recommend!

  The Cliffs of Moher has beautiful scenery and breathtaking views. We so enjoyed our small group hike led by Simon. We met some adventurous ladies and Simon was very knowledgeable and shared facts about the cliffs. We ended our hike at O’Conners for a pint. A memorable day.

  

  

  

  

  

• Behind the scenes magic

  First, and most importantly, our guide was Cearbhuil and she was more than five stars! ⭐️ she genuinely was the most fascinating local we met our entire trip and truly loves her job! It was clear she loves people and takes such pride in her ability to showcase Ireland. We could not get enough her. Second, the cost is on higher side, but after our tour, I wasn’t ready to be done with the cliffs, so we went to the visitor centre and realized the price with Ollie’s Tour was worth absolutely every penny. The visitor centre was packed, you do not have clearly the same views and access, and it is very impersonal. Justified the experience and cost we had just had. Lastly, I will say that I wish Ollie’s could’ve leaned more into the experience we wanted for the cost. Our hike was pretty uphill and finished with the breathtaking views, but our guide mentioned she was meeting another group at the top and walking down to the cute village and finishing with them there. That is the experience we would’ve loved so that we could have soaked up the cliffs and then celebrated locally and taken out the physical hike up. A little bit of leaning in and asking about what was important to us and what we wanted to get out of the time would’ve been really nice to know some options. Overall though, it was truly spectacular and made the experience so personal and memorable.

  

• Ollie’s Tours absolutely MADE our trip!!

  My sister and I had our first trip to Ireland and wanted to see some of the Wild Atlantic Way. Our first day, we did a small group tour (only 9 people) to Cliffs of Moher and Doolin with Cearbhuil as our guide, and she was fantastic. She shared so much about the geological facts of the Cliffs, as well as history of the land and people. It was an incredible day because of her, we never could’ve experienced it the same way on our own. Our second day, we did a private tour to Connemara with Phil and were - again - blown away by the landscape of course, but especially by Phil’s knowledge and stories and enthusiasm for the area. He took us on the most scenic routes and made sure we saw the best parts of the area, all while meeting our preference for pace and experience.   Our experience with Ollies, and specifically Cearbhuil was fabulous on the hike on the Cliffs. Cearbhil was so knowlegable. The views were incredible! A wonderful way to see the Cliffs! Thank you Cearbhuil! This hike was one of the best things we did on our trip!
