Doolin

Starting in Doolin, your guide brings you along a breathtaking route upward toward the Cliffs of Moher. The Hike is 5 miles and takes approx. 3.5 hours. We walk at a relaxing pace and there will be plenty of stops along the way for stories and photos.

The tour ends where transportation will be arranged to bring you back to Doolin. Note: Due to repair works, access to the Visitor Centre may be restricted. Admission is only included when access is available. These closures do not impact the overall experience.

Ollie took us on a surprise proposal private tour to the Cliffs of Moher lookout point and it was amazing! 10/10 acting skills and he helped set the stage for the perfect proposal. Couldn't have asked for a better tour.

This was an incredible experience! I learned so much more about the geology and the history of the area than I would have going alone. I also met nice fellow travelers with whom to share the joy of the beautiful views. When we got to the Cliffs at the end, we were lucky enough to catch someone accepting a marriage proposal with the Cliffs as the background (so sweet). Our guide was spectacular. The pace was just right.

It's a rare thing for me to write a review on multiple sites. That said, here I go! I found Ollie's Tours before we left the States for Ireland. I told my husband and friends traveling with us that, although we were scheduled to stop at the Cliffs of Moher visitor center during the trip, I was going to do this hike with or without them. Best decision ever. Once booked, others wanted to join me which made it a bit complicated since we didn't all fit in the van from Galway to Doolin. Dean was my first contact at Ollie's Tours and he was incredibly patient and helpful as I inundated him with emails. He always replied immediately with the information needed to make it all work. Once I found transportation for our group (PJ, Doolin Day Tours, who I'd recommend in a heartbeat!), Dean even communicated with PJ regarding pick up and drop off. I booked the hike and cruise so it was great not to worry about the details. Our your guide was Phil. Amazing. Again, patient, helpful and so knowledgeable. He covered safety, history, shared important information and led the way with humor and kindness. This hike is something I never would've done on my own so I'm grateful for Phil, Dean and Ollie's Tours. At the end of the day, my husband and friends who came along on this adventure treated me like a hero for helping them have this incredible experience. It was a good day... I hope to do it again!

Strongly recommend. Our guide Phil was terrific - knowledgeable and personable and provided tons of local color about the history of the cliffs - ensuring an enjoyable outing. Meet up was easy to find and afforded an opportunity to grab some.lunch at one of several establishments before continuing with my travels

This was truly amazing. Don’t do the buses that take you to the visitor center for a short visit. Get a guided tour from a local who owns the land you’re standing on. Get right up to the edge of the cliffs. Hear Irish lore and history. Our guide Vincent was knowledgeable, passionate and so warm and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our tour with Phil. He had a lot of history about the area to share. Which really just added so much to the experience. He was also friendly and kind making sure we were all safe. The pace was good with times for breaks and picture taking. Would highly recommend this tour!

Sophia was amazing! She was right on time. Took care of us the whole way thru. Made sure we all knew where to step during the tricky and muddy situations. Gave us lots of information. She was a joy to tour with.

Ollie’s Tours to the Cliffs of Moher from Doolin, County Clare was spectacular. Our guide, Simon, was informative about the land, history, and geology, as well as amusing. It was a beautiful, warm, and sunny day – the 5 mile hike along the cliffs couldn’t have been more pleasant. Highly recommend!
