  My 15 year old daughter went climbing with Francesco at Punta Campanello. Amazing location and some challenging climbs exactly at her level, feeling very safe with Francesco (this was her 2nd time only climbing outdoors). She was happy with the shoes and equipment and came back tired but very happy. For someone that loves climbing it was well worth the price.

  One of the best climbing trips I've been on in a while! My guide Francesco was friendly and accommodating. And the routes that were available were friendly for beginners and advanced climbers alike. Ivana was responsive over text, and helpful as well! Gave a lot of good recommendations for local food in the area. I stayed in Sorrento, and had a bit of confusion as to how to get to the meeting point, but she sorted me out with directions for the bus route. Do bring water and a good pair of legs. The hike into the climbing area is short, but some parts of it are a little rocky, which is a great warm up anyway. Stunning views at the top, so don't forget your camera! Only thing missing was a toonado sticker/tee shirt to add to the collection. But boy, the view...

  My wife and I scheduled on a whim during our honeymoon week in Sorrento. Toonado was so incredibly accomodating in the late season on short notice. It was a Godsend to get away from the crowds and spend some time in solitude doing one of our favorite outdoor activities. Punta Campanella is beautiful. Our guide Francesco was so friendly and incredible. It was an honor for him to be our guide; it is obvious climbing is his lifelong love and this area is his expertise. We 100 percent recommend. 😊

  This is really the highlight of my trip! Francesco was very friendly and kind. We really enjoyed our time, especially since it’s our first outdoor climbing experience. Francesco was incredibly helpful, thumbs up! Thanks for finding very nice and interesting routes for us to climb!

• Great Active Holiday experience in Amalfi

  We did the rock climbing at Sorrento Punta Campanella and on another day the Guided Path of the Gods Hike. Ivana who runs Toonado was amazing in helping with arrangements, and in the few days before the tour, links up with you on Whatsapp for last minute issues. For the Rock climbing we did this with Francesco who organises rock climbing activities throughout the year, and the experience was amazing, including walking down (only problem is the tiring walk up!) to the rock climbing site which is also where there is a beautiful cavern/blowhole to see. Great views of Capri. There were local social rock climbers there and even though we and our teenage girls had only ever climbed on indoor walls before, we had a great time! Maybe the walk down to the site might be a little intimidating for those with a a fear of heights, but my older daughter who is a little skittish about that, still managed fine! For the Path of the Gods, again well organised and knowledgeable hiking guide Mario. Beautiful views and great local knowledge! Maybe the only thing to note is the starting point is Bomerano, and ending point is Nocelle. Getting out from Nocelle is very easy with the local bus bringing us back to Positano. But getting to Bomerano was surprising. It seems so close on the map, but to get there from Positano by private car you need to backtrack all the way past Sorrento and come in to Bomerano from the north behind the mountains! A long > 1 hour drive. I think planning the Path of the Gods hike staying in Sorrento might be better and more economical... All in all excellent active alternative experience in Amalfi. Highly recommended!

  Easily one of the best climbing experiences I have ever had. My girlfriend and I both have been climbing for around 3-4 years, and we wanted to climb while we were in Italy. The climbing in Punta Campanella along the Amalfi coast was easily the most gorgeous place I have ever climbed, and the climbing itself was fantastic. Francesco was a gracious guide and went above and beyond giving us drone footage, and teaching us about the history of the area. Would recommend to anyone interested in trying it out! Also in terms of logistics, Ivana was extremely responsive and helpful with suggesting places to stay and taxi services to use. Payment was straightforward and simple.

  An unforgettable experience! We did the Punta Campanella climbing route, breathtaking views and wonderful scenery. Francis accompanied us on the rock and proposed various routes according to our level and preferences. Friendly and helpful, Francesco provided us with various information about local history and culture. The route takes place in total safety and gives strong emotions. Highly recommended!

  A must-try experience: fun, adrenaline, combining sport, clean air and breathtaking views. Everything organized perfectly (time, meeting point ..) and qualified and competent instructors, especially Silvia who does not lose sight of you a second during the climb. And not to miss anything they also become a bit 'tour guides' of the place where you climb. We look forward to the next event!
