On our Cobb & Co Stagecoach Experience you’ll travel in a restored stagecoach on our award-winning tour – first at a leisurely pace through town and then full-tilt along a stretch of the original Longreach-Windorah mail route. Hear the pounding hooves of the magnificent horses on the outback dirt road. Hear the rattle and creak of the coach. Hold on to your hat for the only stagecoach gallop in Australia! It’s exhilarating. It’s entertaining. And it’s the closest you can get to feeling what it would have been like in the pioneer past. After the ride (depending on your itinerary) slow down with a traditional smoko (scones, jam, cream with tea). You'll also enjoy a classic Australian bush movie in retro cinema seats. Afterwards, browse through the Cobb and Co Courtyard collection.

COBB AND CO STAGECOACH RIDE WITH SMOKO: On arrival at the booking office, collect your commemorative ticket and then gather in 'The Parlour'. Depending on your ticket details, you will either board the Cobb & Co Stagecoach or relax in our tearoom to enjoy a tasty outback smoko (home-baked scones, jam and cream with tea), before your stagecoach ride. Before you climb aboard the stagecoach, we'll take a photo of you (on your camera) as a keepsake. After your ride, browse the Cobb and Co Courtyard to learn more about the historic vehicles and characters.
The Station Store
CLASSIC BUSH MOVIE: Walk through The Station Store to our theatrette. Here you'll relax in the old canvas seating from years gone by to watch a classic Australian bush movie. Receive your bag of popcorn - freshly made each morning.

5.00Wonderful experience, the staff were amazing, explained everything and ensured safety at all times. The coach ride was wonderful. The morning tea including fresh scones with jam and cream and tea or coffee were fabulous. A beautiful experience for everyone who visits the very hospitable town of Longreach

4.00There is the stagecoach ride to the common and all other activities are at the pick up venue. Movie was good and we were inside for the coach ride so not really that dusty. Scones were very nice. Tent show missed the mark.

4.00I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this unique experience. We started we deliciously home cooked scones followed by a Cobb & Co carriage ride down the main street of Longreach as well as along a bush track where we were able to gallop at a fun pace. Returning to town we watched a traditional outback Aussie movie complete with popcorn then we were entertained by a local poet and tent show. The entire tour was entertaining on many different levels and I'd highly recommend for something a little different.
