In the early morning, the lake is calm and quiet, and the view of Mt Fuji is unforgettable. Some days, you might see a sea of clouds, soft mist on the water, or birds like swans and cormorants.
Our friendly English speaking guide will share stories about Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji. We enjoy helping travelers make the most of their time in Japan.

How to Get to Kawaguchiko from Tokyo
① Take a train from Shinjuku to Otsuki, then transfer to the Fujikyu Line

Enjoy gently kayaking on Lake Kawaguchiko with breathtaking Mt. Fuji views, and capture unforgettable moments with photo opportunities from the water. The early morning is the absolute best time to see clear views of Mt Fuji and to relax on the quiet lake waters. This activity is suitable even for beginners as our English-speaking guide will kindly explain how to paddle. *This is NOT rental, we will guide you and take you to the most beautiful places on the lake Our early morning kayaking tour starts at 7:00 am. The time schedule is as follows: 6:45-7:00 Come to reception (fill in the agreement form and make payment) 7:00-7:15 Guide will explain how to paddle and the potential dangers for Kayaking Activity 7:15-7:30 Practice paddling 7:30-8:30 Kayaking tour Total 1.5 hour tour includes equipment, bottled water per person, and picture-taking by our guide. *We start kayaking at 7:00am on time, so please come earlier for preparation. *There are no buses or trains operating at this time, so if you need our pick-up service, please make a reservation for private activity tour and choose kayaking (it is a different time slot).

5.00We had a great experience. We want at 7h00 and we add a great time. We were with JC and he was Nice with us, he was welcoming. I would suggest to go there at 7h00 because the lake was so peacefull.

5.00We had an amazing time doing the early morning Kayak with Guillaume as our guide. We were lucky to have clear skies and a great view of Mt Fuji whilst we kayaked on the lake. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area and incredible friendly. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Highly recommend!

5.00What a special way to start the day! We showed up and were greeted by our English speaking tour guide who made the process smooth from start to finish. CJ was very helpful. He set us up with gear including waterproof pants, jackets, boots, gloves, life vests, and waterproof phone case bags. He also made great coffee!!! After a safety briefing and tutorial, we got on the water. He made sure we were comfortable along the way and took great photos! He also taught us some history and fun facts. We would highly recommend this excursion!

5.00We had an excellent experience with this group. CJ made our adventure through the lake incredible. He was so respectful, answered all our questions, and even made us some world class coffee right before we headed out into the water! Highly recommend touring with CJ! Will definitely be back.

5.00We had such a wonderful experience kayaking with our tour guide, Grahame! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and shared so many interesting facts. Waterproof phone cases, pants, jackets and gloves were provided, which was an added bonus. I can’t recommend this experience enough!

5.00We had an amazing tour by a guide from Alabama. He was amazing explaining everything well and was super nice and friendly. We booked the tour at 7 am and we had the best view on Mount Fuji.
