This tour is a really great way to see parts of the city that you might not have seen on your own! The coffee tasting was really interesting and the tea ceremony was truly unique. The addition of our photos being taken was great too!

We came on vacation to Panama City and initially were overwhelmed by the expansive city and what to do. We wanted a truly local experience and this satisfied that and more! Ashika immediately made us feel at home in a foreign community, shared her unique experience growing up in Panama, and gave us recommendations beyond just coffee and tea! That's not even mentioning the actual substance of this tour, which was a phenomenal experience delving deep into the rich history of coffee in this country with an expert and tasting some truly amazing cups. Next we experienced the tea which was an experience I had not had before, from a Chinese tea shop in the El Cangrejo neighborhood. This was incredible and celebrates the strong Chinese presence here too. Great day and would give more stars for Ashika if possible!

We LOVED our coffee and tea tour with Ashika!! It really was like being shown around the neighborhood by a friend. We started off at a local coffee shop where the owner gave us a few coffees to try and explained their history. The coffees were all delicious and it was so nice to see a local, cool place. Then Ashika took us around the neighborhood. She grew up there and told us a lot about how the neighborhood has evolved. We loved seeing all the cute local places that we would’ve missed on a bigger tour. She’s very friendly and fun and easy to talk to. Next we went to the tea house where we had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. The guide there was great and the tea house had so many cool things around. We really loved our entire tour with Ashika! 100% would recommend.

This was one of the best tours I’ve taken in years. I can only think of one that is comparable which was a vineyard tour in Portugal where they made us feel like family. As for this tour, the coffee and the tea are wonderful which I will get to but the real treat is Ashika. She was immediately warm and welcoming and I enjoyed her so very much as my tour guide. I have never learned so much about a country from a guide. I have so many fun facts to bring home to my friends about Panama. She understands the many facets of this country and the parts that a tourist might be interested to know. Walking with her, you feel as though you might be able to move there with her valuable wisdom to guide you. She is smart, she is funny, she is poignant and in my opinion, she was meant to do these tours. I wish every tour guide could be like her. As for the coffee, the flavors were so smooth and different from what I am used to in the US and the tea was unique and gave me a better idea of Chinese culture in Panama, which apparently accounts for way much more of the country’s demographic than you might imagine. I recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Geisha coffee with a side of real Panamanian culture and agriculture. Ashika, thank you for the experience. I truly loved it.

I had a great time on this experience , Ashika was very friendly and a pleasure to be around. The coffee roaster was extremely knowledgeable and I felt like I was stepping into a someone secret coffee testing lab! You could tell he was passionate about coffee and the same goes for the tea room. I learned a lot more about tea than I was expecting to learn . In between the coffee roaster and the tea room Ashika took us to some local Panamanian shops where there were products made by local artists and delicious ice cream. I would highly recommend this tour.
