  What an absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience! Mauricio is such a friendly and knowledgeable host and really opens up the world of coffee for his guests. We have gained a whole new appreciation for it! He works hard to keep his guests comfortable and informed, and encourages you to be more mindful of your senses in everyday life - something that we often need to be reminded of. The tour was not only informative, but so much fun and it’s so interesting to learn all about all the different ways you can make the same coffee bean taste by using specific techniques. We had an amazing time at this tour - it is more than worth the money. An added bonus - the grounds are literally breathtaking. Book this tour!

  We went to visit the estate for the first time with my boyfriend and two friends. We were greeted by Lina with all her charm, who made it possible for the experience to be truly unforgettable, personalized, didactic. We have really learned a lot mainly about coffee, but also a bit of fauna and flora, having given us a moment of sensory meditation truly precious. I highly recommend that you visit this coffee farm, you will be able to distinguish a good coffee and in broad outlines, know the most important steps of the process. Thank you. Lina!

  An unmissable plan if you travel to this area of the coffee shaft. Highly recommended 100%. The hosts are very attentive, very warm. You really change the whole perspective when drinking coffee after going to your farm. A very pleasant Mood, lots of learning and the experience of preparing a good coffee from scratch is unique.   Great visit to a coffee plantation. The group was Spanish and English speaking and we had explanations in both languages. The visit is very interesting and informative. We go from harvesting coffee beans to roasting them. All the steps are extremely well explained. Mood is relaxed and extremely friendly. To do absolutely!

  Excellent experience, super friendly and knowledgeable hosts. We felt very welcome, we were given snacks and we were able to learn from all the varieties, processes and methods of preparing coffee, which by the way is of excellent quality. It's an experience I would certainly repeat. Thank you very much to Lina and Mauricio 👏🏼

  What a FANTASTIC experience, I cannot recommend this enough. This is a real family owned coffee farm in Colombia, the owners were so warm and gracious and gave us detailed overview of coffee production, from bean selection to roasting and making the perfect cup. We picked beans in the rainforest.. and tasted many beans & learned the aromas, the coffee is unlike anything you have ever had and it is just so fun. I’m back in Florida drinking coffee I bought on the tour. 5 stars, will go again,

  This was a super experience - very extensive (3 to 4 hours) and completely immersive. Lots of information but totally hands-on - I've never spent so much time trying to make the "perfect" cup. We used scales, grind settings, filters, drip systems, water pouring techniques, roasters and changed things up to see how that would impact the taste. Plus time down in the finca picking beans (it was harvest time) and appreciating the beauty of the area. Bilingual Spanish and English owner/tour operator. It's in a rural area so you need your own transport, or just get a willy or bus from Filandia toward Paraiso. Fully recommended!

  We just had an amazing coffee tour with Mauricio and Lina at Recua Coffee Tour. Who knew there was so much to learn about coffee? Simply fascinating. The tour was highly interactive and the time flew by. We got to participate in every step of the process and now I finally understand what goes into making a great cup of coffee. Plus I learned how to taste flavours on my tongue! I highly, highly recommend this tour. Plus it's very easy to get to, either by car or bus (with a very short walk) from Filandia.

  Very good local experience! It is a very complete coffee class tour, where we collect coffee seeds and review the process until we reach the bean, which we then prepare to serve. The staff very friendly and always very willing.
