5.00Great tour with a unique perspective on both Split and Croatia. We thought this tour was interesting and worthwhile. Guide was enthusiastic and used many great maps and visuals on his iPad during tour. He was also very well versed in geography. I would highly recommend.

5.00This was phenomenal. Marin was incredible. Definitely a highlight of our entire Croatia trip. I would recommend this over your ordinary history-of-Split tour any day -- we left with a deeper understanding of Split, Dalmatia, Croatia, and Yugo/Slavic culture, pride, values and history. My husband and I left asking ourselves questions about our own national identities and the history they reflect -- the tour was *that* inspiring. Marin was kind and open and patient. I would highly recommend a private tour if you can afford the upgrade. I will recommend this to *everyone* going to Split who is interested in a thoughtful, well-researched and personal tour and experience.'

Marin was a wonderful host, so friendly and engaging, really welcoming everyone and facilitating a great conversation while teaching us about his country and area. Can not recommend more highly.

5.00Absolutely brilliant tour! Marin is extremely knowledgeable and gifted with an amazing ability to communicate in a highly effective and entertaining manner. For a first time visitor to Croatia and Split, I found this tour to be an outstanding introduction to the modern country and its history from Diocletian times, its people and its outlook on life. As a teaching professional with training in anthropology, Marin presents a unique perspective and is not afraid to address all sorts of issues. Highly recommend!
