Cooking up a storm in a family environment

5.00Sahid and his family were the perfect hosts. After a quick trip to the market to buy the freshest of ingredients, we walked to his home. We were made welcome while he prepared the meat and washed the vegetables. Then it was our turn. Sahid carefully and patiently showed us the way to season the chicken and cut the vegetables. Once this was cooking, it was time to make the salad. No matter how much mess we made, it was never a problem. The food was awesome, the hosts were fabulous, so nice to sit and have a home cooked meal in a family environment when travelling. Thoroughly recommend this experience.

5.00It was a great experience from Chef Said. We have cooked three dishes that have really been spectacular. We have been cared for perfectly, we have been at home cooking and then we have tasted the dishes we have cooked. It is a very, very recommendable experience.

5.00While we did not have time to learn some moroccan cooking tips, we enjoyed an authentic Moroccan meal with Chef Said in his lovely home in Chefchaouen’s medina. What a special, special experience! We recommend this activity *highly* because it gives another dimension to your trip to this delightful little town! Nothing like being integrated into the culture and seeing and tasting authentic fare. I will add that I am vegetarian, and it was no problem having this accommodated for. My recommendation would be to take the cooking class - we really enjoyed the meal and look forward to another visit when we can learn to actually shop for and find the perfect ingredients for the delightful meal!
