A full immersion in the Ligurian culinary tradition. Meet our local culinary expert in the morning and discover the authentic recipe of Pesto sauce, the valued condiment to minestrone and pasta dishes. After choosing the right ingredients, our Chef will teach you how to prepare a deliciously aromatic Pesto sauce made exclusively with local basil and prepared in the traditional way - using a marble mortar and a wooden pestle.
Shared experience. Small groups 4-6 people maximum, (depending on the activity), are led by local English-speaking local experts.
Languages: Italian, English and French.
Children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
If you miss the experience, no refund will be possible.

After choosing the right ingredients, our Chef will teach you how to prepare a deliciously aromatic Pesto sauce made exclusively with local basil and prepared in the traditional way - using a marble mortar and a wooden pestle. Experience highlights: • Menu planning and food preparation with local English speaking expert; • cooking class “Pesto sauce” prepared in traditional way, using the marble mortar and the wooden pestle; • pasta & pesto tasting; • PDO Riviera Ligure – Riviera dei Fiori extra virgin olive oil & Taggiasca olives tasting; • Friends or family members, who are not cooking, can join us for dinner (price on request). • Including: Med Food Lab certificate and recipes.
