Together with mama, we will start preparing our renowned traditional dish, Lakror. First, you will be greeted with our traditional drink, Narden, before immersing yourself in the process of crafting Lakror. Our mama will be our guiding light on this authentic culinary journey; each of us will contribute, from preparing the sauce to kneading the dough. Additionally, some of us will take part in creating Fërgesa, another delectable traditional dish, perfectly complemented by homemade bread.

5.00Our hosts greeted us with an amazing warm and friendly welcome. This experience was one of the biggest highlights from our trip. Everything was completely hands on from making the pastry to the choice of fillings. The making the Lakror was an absolute blast. Our hosts gave great guidance really made the whole experience a fun one. We learnt so much, not just about the history of the Lakror. Make sure you turn up with an empty stomach because when it comes to eating your Lakror you are given so much much more… fresh vegetables, cheeses and fruits for starters with all with a choice of drink. We were unable to finish all of our Lakror, thankfully they wrapped it up so we could snack on it later. I highly recommend that when you come here that it is something you take part in.

5.00We had an amazing cooking class! It was me, my husband and our 5-year-old daughter and they took such great care of us and were so kind to our daughter and very patient. The Lakror tasted amazing! We highly recommend booking this class!

5.00Excellent course! The explanations were very clear, the atmosphere was warm, it is as if we were at home or with family. We really enjoyed this activity. The tasting of our prepared dishes was very good, drinks are included. Thanks to the restaurant Mendra!

5.00I joined the Lakror cooking class at Mëndra hosted by Solrado, and it was the highlight of my holiday. From the warm welcome to learning each step of this traditional Albanian dish, the experience was fun, personal, and delicious. Enjoying my own freshly made lakror with a glass of Narden was the perfect ending. A must-do in Ksamil!

5.00A fun activity where you learn by doing! Authentic Albanian cooking with a skilled translator to assist with the language barrier. We had a fantastic time as a family and I would definitely recommend this to others. The class finished with the group devouring all the amazing tasting Lakrors and Fergese.

5.00Wonderful experience learning to make traditional Albanian dishes! Our family had an excellent time making the lakror pies, a vegetable dish, salad and dolmas. Everything was really really tasty but the best part was spending time with the Albanian locals who were so friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend and one of the highlights of our trip!

5.00This was an authentic Albanian cooking class that took place in a family restaurant kitchen. Everyone was so kind and so happy to share their craft with us. We enjoyed it so much we went back for dinner that evening!!
