Government House Museum
Government House dominates the west end of the Town Plaza, a unique Spanish land use component lying within a National Historic Landmark District. Along coasts, plazas were to begin at the waterfront - to see and to be seen. Since 1598, a government building has stood on this site with a view of the harbor landing, accommodating administrative headquarters and residences of colonial governors appointed by the Crowns of Spain, then Britain, then Spain again. After Spain ceded Florida to the United States in 1821, this current Government House served as a courthouse and briefly as a Capitol of the new Territory of Florida.

5.00We've found that a walking food tour is the perfect activity the first day after arriving in a new city. Our afternoon in St Augustine was filled with good food, good wine, interesting history, pleasant conversation, and lots of laughs. Our guide Judi (with an i) showed us a great afternoon.

5.00We had a great time-one of the best food tours we have been on and we have been on quite a few! There was so much food we did not need dinner! All the stops were great and we loved Molly! Another couple cancelled so it was just my husband and I and Molly-our own private guide. Will definitely do this tour again.
10/10 recommend!

5.00Three of my closest friends and I decided to take a trip to St. Augustine for the first time and were looking for a food tour. This came highly recommended and it didn’t disappoint! Our incredible tour guide, Kimberly, was a wealth of knowledge, bubbly, enthusiastic and a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. She curated a perfect map of places to enjoy both with food and spirits, the afternoon was a blast. Recommend this tour to anyone looking for some niche spots in St. Augustine and couldn’t recommend Kimberly more. Fantastic job!

Every restaurant she took us to was a hidden gem tucked away in downtown St. Augustine, and each stop offered delicious dishes perfectly paired with wine. Whether you’re visiting St. Augustine for the first time or you’ve been here many times before, this tour is an absolute must-do!

5.00Because my husband and I were the only two signed up for the tour, they asked if we could join an earlier tour, but we could not due to a conflict. Even so, they honored our reservation, and Mandy gave us a private tour around the area. We had an appetizer and entree at Athena's, before stopping by Ancient Olive for some olive oil tasting since we were running ahead of schedule. We then stopped at DJ's Clam Shack for a delicious lobster roll before heading over to the Gifted Cork for more wine tastings. We ended the night at Old City House for dessert. We have done the Tasting Tour four other times, and we always enjoy ourselves. We discover new restaurants each time we go.
