Old Jail Museum
Trolley Stop #1 Old Jail (admission included): Built in 1890 by Henry Flagler, the Old Jail of St Augustine is one of the oldest of its kind and despite being renovated, maintains its original feel. It’s a perfect choice for families, as actors dressed in time-period outfits take you back to the time when this was a maximum-security prison.

5.00In December and January, you might want to add gloves and a hat for the ride. Trevor was our guide and was excellent. Love that he reminded people to speak in whispers. I void hear everything he said! Steps were easy to negotiate, so very safe to get on and off. Gives a person an overview of the city.

5.00Loved the tour. The operator was knowledgeable and funny. Only one hitch, more guests late in the day than openings on trolley resulted in long waits.
Amazing! Don’t think about It, just do it. You will not be disappointed.

5.00This was an amazing tour package. We were able to add on Potter’s Wax Museum, and that was so worth it. We had such a great time. All of the tour guides, this includes Viola (Old Jail), Orville (Old Store), Summer (Trolley Conductor), and TJ were simply amazing. Bud at the front took our group photo which was so super sweet. We had just such a magical and fun experience. Could not have asked for more. Everyone was so knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with our group. I will absolutely be recommending to all my fam and friends. And I will definitely be returning soon!!! Thank you!!!!!!

5.00The trolley driver (Summer) was very knowledgeable about the area and kept the tour interesting and kept us laughing. The tour hit all of the parts of the city that we were interested in seeing. The hop on and off again feature sold it for me.

5.00The trolleys run about 15 minutes apart and if a large crowd cannot be accommodated the driver calls in for an additional trolley to be sent directly to the location so there is plenty of opportunity to explore the different sites. The drivers are all very knowledgeable and use a lot of humor sharing their information.

5.00Easy for elderly or handicap. Parking was limited close by but lots of parking in the area. You can stay on the trolley and see everything and then choose your stops

5.00What a wonderful experience, so many great drivers/tour guides. Very polite, skilled drivers, very puncual, extremely knowledgeable about the history and the historical exhibits. 22 stops and they welcome questions and a wealth of info. Highly recomend the oldest jail and the oldest general store, tour guides are awesome, especially Virgil at the general store. Serious, funny and very skilled curator. You will love this place. 5+ thumbs up. Doug and Jeanne
