  I've been to Thailand several times before and once to Vietnam. Finally, I've decided for the Philippines. The journey is very long. For reasons of cost (I travel in Business) and because of the war already talked about when I planned the trip, discarded then Emirates, remained the Turkish Airline. In the end I found a great price with ITA .Roma Bangkok at 2000 euros (booked much earlier). Bangkok always has great charm. The hotel, Novotel 20 Sukhumvitg at 100 euros. It's not the Sofitel, or the J,W, MARIOT (THE BEST), clearly but it has an excellent value for money'. I have to give a positive opinion for ITA AIRWAYS: EXCELLENT MENU (I usually do not eat on the plane), very motivated staff, you understand that they have to work hard to figure well with a great Partner like Lufhansa. We come to the program: first 4 days in BangkoK to recover from the trip (17 hours) with day and night excursion to Pattaya (everything, the rest of Bangkok I had already done in the previous 3 trips) Pattaya, just, out of curiosity : a big brothel, forget it, unless you look for young ladies. Day 8 flight to Manila 2 hours and a half (faster than expected), overnight at CITY GARDEN GRAND HOTEL. dinner at the roof top restaurant on the 34th floor. Amazing view over the whole Manila by night. Great hotel, low cost. Restaurant : here yes, already makes contact with Filipino food. Much less than Chinese or Thai, Not good at all It's the sore note of the trip Day 9 flight to Coron. Overnight at BACA BAY RESORT. Good. Willing staff, level of a ns 3 star super. .Great value for money. On the 10th the first excursion booked from Italy with Trip Advisor ULTIMATE TOUR. iL BEST EVER. YOU MUST. Day 11 relax by the pool: Downside of all the hotels where I stayed; VERY FEW CHAIRS and sometimes no umbrellas. With 30 degrees it was no relief. Even in the 4 real stars, such as the Funny Lion, eg, said by my hiking companions, same situation, OR THERE IS THE RACE IN THE MORNING TO OCCUPY THE CHAIRS, occupied from the early hours by those who do not go hiking. Day 12 second excursion booked at the hotel TOUR OF THE ISLANDS. EXCELLENT ALSO THIS BUT BETTER THE ULTIMATE. Day 13 : FLIGHT TO EL NIDO . Stay hotel SEA COCCON HOTEL On the road. Very noisy. Inadequate staffing. To them it's a 4-star, barely a 3-star, ridiculous pool. I had already booked the Funny Lion, 4 real stars but to save money I changed. I wouldn't go back. Day 14 unfortunately the booked excursion is cancelled due to the strong wind so only one excursion: the combined between B and C, Beautiful view with mountains and coves (they say lagoons), but suitable for canoeists, Snorkeling little stuff compared to the Ultimate tour of Coron The best is without a doubt TOUR A. OF THE TWO BEACHES VISITED THE BEST OF ALL IS LA VANILA OR EVEN CALLED CABANAS. Very nice and quiet sea for swimming. Restaurant with, finally, deck chairs and shade. Also good menu- You get there in 15 minutes in TUC TUC with 200 pesos, MACTAN . TO AVOID seems Rimini. expensive deckchairs , CROWDED, ALWAYS LARGE WAVES, Far away and with the hotel shuttle 1200 pesos A comment on the well-known : CORON AND EL NIDO you have to do the tours, beautiful beaches and unique views. The two towns in the center are ugly and crowded, Better to stay outside. The sea however is beautiful!. MOALBOAL here comes the surprise that really leaves AMAZED: Swim in the middle of a WALL of silvery sardines and walk among large giant turtles that you can almost step on, a few dozen meters from the coast. A few meters after the hotel QUO VADIS, where I was staying, (which I will talk about below), walk on the right looking at the entrance of the hotel and you will see the advertisement of guys who will guide you, swimming. with the help of a circular rubber with handles, where you attach, and they with giant fins, drag you for a few tens of meters to SWIM BETWEEN thousands of SARDINES. MAGNIFICENT. Worth the trip and the effort to get to MOALBOAL: plane to Cebu and then 4 hours by car.. About the hotel Quo Vadis, mentioned earlier, has a beautiful location but do not go there because it is very noisy : there is a generator installed near the noisy pool, dogs barking in the street adjacent to the LUXE ROOMS WITH SEA VIEW, ESPECIALLY FROM 5 AM ONWARDS. ABSOLUTELY INSUFFICIENT SWIMMING POOL AND 2 STAR RESTAURANT. Find other solutions IN CONCLUSION: BEAUTIFUL SEA, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL I HAVE EVER SEEN, FEW BEACHES IF YOU DO NOT DO THE TOURS. MOALBOAL TO GO ABSOLUTELY, BAD FOOD- I'll give in another review soon, three names of restaurants you can't miss. The only ones anyway. FOR THOSE WHO ARE GOURMAND AND CAN SPEND, YOU CAN'T MISS THE GRAND BUFFET ON SATURDAY AT THE LUNCH OF THE J,W, MARIOT An expanse of Norman oysters, Jersey, claws of crabs and lobsters already cleaned, small and giant prawns with French bread, sour butter, a variety of soups and a FABULOUS meat corner. • LACK OF PLANNING AND POOR VISIBILITY PLUS DIVERS AND SNORKELERS CHASING THE DUGONGS SPOILED THE DAY

  The Dugong trip was very expensive. The plan was to travel from Coron to Busuanga by van and then move onto a Bunka and go by sea to the area where the Dugongs munch on the sea grasses. From door to door it took ALMOST 12 hours. We were supposed to snorkel with the Dugons first, then have lunch followed by snorkelling with Turtles. The visibility was really poor, there was a current running all day and quite a bumpy ocean. The lunch was extremely basic and the day was turned upside down which meant by the time we were to snorkel the Dugongs there were several boats which arrived while we went to see the turtles. There were two small ones. There were snorkellers chasing the dugongs, then divers from another boat splashed their way on the surface while breathing air instead of using the snorkel to the Dugongs. They didn't appear to be trained OW divers with fins splashing about and should not have been near the Dugongs, We sat and waited for so many hours during the day. My husband saw one Dugong but the water clarity wasn't good enough to make out the details. If the day had been planned better, the weather a lot better and the lunch much more interesting and tasty the day could have been better

  The drive over was very interesting as the driver and the person looking for guests seemed very new at it, and was not fully prepared. They did a back and forth pickup between all the guests and only picked up breakfast last minute, which added around 45 minutes to our departure. Boat was great though, Kuya Gaspar was very friendly, and in fact was the one who made an effort to connect with guests, others on the tour seemed really shy. You can get this tour for 4500 on the island or on hotels. I felt very sad about finding that out.

  The day trip itself was fairly average and could have been enjoyable, but unfortunately it was completely overshadowed by a very distressing incident on the beach. A man was aggressively abusing dogs with a large stick with nails on it in full view of other visitors. It was upsetting to witness and created an uncomfortable, unsafe atmosphere that ruined what should have been a relaxing experience. What made it worse was the apparent lack of intervention or control in the area. Situations like this should never be allowed to happen, especially on a trip that’s meant to be enjoyable for everyone. Until better supervision and clear action are taken to prevent this kind of behaviour, I wouldn’t recommend this day trip.

  This is absolutely a must try tour! i heard that this is new so we gave it a try! and never disappoint, seacow and turtle in one day! thank you!
