We 'll do what the local people normally do: we shall visit sites where locals normally stay at the weekends, restaurants where catalans eat at Empordà , not what tourists do. It is going to be an experience, much more than a tour! You’ll be told about gossip stories about the local families & artists at the area.

- Visit of firsts settlements, castles and towns' ruins and villages from - IV Century B.C. the XI-XIII A.C. till nowadays.

- We will enjoy the local gastronomy & wines by the sea side where the local bourgoise, from Barcelona and Girona, normally spend their weekends and vacations.

A great way to see the outer areas of Barcelona- ancient seaside towns and quaint cafes and restaurants. Monia was an amazing guide, enriching our ride with history and tales of Dali and friends and visiting a fabulous restaurant where he worked and played. The blue water views were spectacular

Monia was our guide for the day and she was truly amazing. The drive to Costa Brava and tour was exceptional, very flexible (appreciate this!) and for that she deserves a special thanks. Monia is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide. She is very knowledgeable of the area. I highly recommend Monia! She is friendly, funny and creates a wonderful atmosphere.

Monia was an amazing guide. She tailored the entire fay to accommodate our toddler, showed us all the amazing sights of tossa de mar and allowed for plenty of rest and relaxation swimming in one of the most beautiful coves of tossa. Highly recommend!

The day we spent exploring Costa Brava with Monia was wonderful. Because she grew up in the area, she was able to share with us some of her favorite places, which we also loved. Especially the local shops in the village of Pals and the wonderful restaurant on the beach in Tamariu. She also shared a lot of knowledge about the history and people of the area. It was a great, relaxing way to see the area.

I truly didn’t know what to expect but this tour was great. We visited many small medieval and beach towns and a winery. Monia had a great knowledge of the area and has a great personality. She made us feel like family and showed us so many beautiful places. We ate at a marvelous restaurant (Restaurant Llfranc) we all had a seafood paella and local wine from a nearby winery. The food , wine, service was delightful and sitting on the water witha fantastic view, great people ,good conversation , food and wine. What more can you ask for? We have been to Almafi and Tuscany and it reminds you of both of them in one. I highly recommend Monia and can’t say enough. Take this tour and you won’t be disappointed.

Moina was absolutely wonderful. Extremely friendly and shared copious amounts of information about the area she showed us. She made lunch recommendations as well as a wonderful walking tour of the local beaches. This was a fantastic private tour and would HIGHLY recommend it!!!!

Monia was great! She drove well and made sure to take us to beautiful sights! She definitely knows her history! We even had a lunch in costa brava and it was fantastic! On the way back to the hotel, she even showed us the best view of Barcelona! I definitely would recommend this as a one day trip! An important thing to advise is that she is willing to pick up and drop off guests at their hotel despite the locations viator shows. If you book this trip, contact her with your hotel and most likely she will be able to pick up and drop you off there!
