Great group to hike with. Hiking to the base camp was the highlight. I wish there was more to see in the park. Didn’t spot any wildlife. Tour guide was full of energy.

Amazing experience at 16, 000 ft. Hike is not a hard hike, but altitude takes some adjustment! Be sure to continue on to the very peaceful Laguna walk. It may be cloudy, chilly, snowy. As they say in New England, if you don’t like the weather, wait a minute. And, it adds to the fun! And, be sure to request Alejandro. He is the one who helped to make the experience both AMAZING and save💕.

This is a high altitude hike to over 4800 metres! Some level of fitness is required ( 2 members of our group struggled - one couldn’t make it. Make sure you wear good hiking shoes and warm clothes. Very rewarding experience. Misa our guide was professional, informative and very kind

Our group of about 10 people had an amazing experience with this tour! Our guide arrived right on time to pick us up, and we headed out to Cotopaxi. We made a quick stop for snacks and a bathroom break before continuing to the park. Once there, we stopped at a cozy little café to enjoy some coca tea, which is essential at high elevations to help with acclimatization. Our guide, Jessica, gave us a great overview at the small museum before we began the hike up to the refuge. The weather can be quite extreme, especially if you're not used to cold temperatures, so be sure to dress in layers. It’s also super windy, and we even got caught in a light snowstorm, but the hike is very manageable if you take it slow and steady. Once we reached the top, the descent was much easier. We finished the day with a visit to a stunning lake, which was the perfect way to wrap up our time in the park. To top it off, we had lunch at a charming spot where we enjoyed delicious traditional Ecuadorian dishes. I highly recommend this tour—it was an unforgettable experience!
