Experience the best of the northern Cotswolds with a fun, friendly local guide in a small group of up to 16 people. We'll explore picture-postcard Cotswold towns and villages including Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water. There's also the stunning Dover's Hill viewpoint, scenic back roads, and our "secret" off-the-beaten-track village, which many customers agree is a highlight of the tour!
Tours depart from Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, or from Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswolds, so make an ideal day trip for visitors staying in these towns. It's also very easy to take a day trip by train from London Paddington, Oxford or Worcester (to Moreton-in-Marsh), or from Birmingham (to Stratford-upon-Avon).
If you're travelling from London or Oxford, we think it's best to take the train to the Cotswolds and meet a tour here - you'll skip all the traffic, take a charming, scenic train ride, and get to spend even longer in the beautiful Cotswolds!

There are two pick-up points for this tour: Shakespeare's Birthplace Coach Terminal, Stratford-upon-Avon – Departure at 08:50; Moreton-in-Marsh Rail Station – Departure at 09:30. Please note your ticket may display the tour start time as 08:50, regardless of your chosen pick-up location. However, if you selected Moreton-in-Marsh, your actual departure time is 09:30. Kindly arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled departure.
Look out for our friendly guide in Go Cotswolds uniform, driving a large white minibus with green and purple Go Cotswolds branding—you won’t miss us!
Double-check your selected pick-up point. Occasionally, we don’t stop at both, so arriving at the wrong location could result in being left behind. To change your pick-up point, please log in to your account to update your booking. Need help choosing the best option? Contact us!
If you are arriving in Moreton-in-Marsh by train, the train arriving at approximately 09:17–09:20 is ideal. It’s a small station, and it’s just a 1–2 minute walk to the car park where your guide will meet you.
If you are arriving in Stratford-upon-Avon by train, note that our pick-up point is a 5–10 minute walk from the station. Please note that on Sundays, there are no trains arriving before the tour departs.
Uber and similar services are not widely available in the Cotswolds, and local taxis can be difficult to book last minute. We strongly recommend booking taxis in advance or using public transport where possible.
If you're not at your pick-up point on time (08:50 in Stratford-upon-Avon, 09:30 in Moreton-in-Marsh) and we can't contact you, the tour will depart without you. Make sure we have your correct mobile number with international dial code before your tour.
After the tour, please plan any onward travel as follows: from Moreton-in-Marsh: After 17:00; from Stratford-upon-Avon: After 17:30
We have plenty of secure luggage space on board our vehicles, though please note our guides may not be able to assist with very heavy luggage
Children aged 3–15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Sorry, no children under 3.

Passengers joining the tour at Stratford-upon-Avon will be collected from Shakespeare's Birthplace Coach Terminal at 08.50. Then, we travel to the Cotswold town of Moreton-in-Marsh, where we collect our final guests from Moreton-in-Marsh rail station at 9.30am. From Moreton-in-Marsh, it's a 15 minute drive to our first official stop. We'll provide an introduction to the tour en route.

5.00Cotswold was a top priority while visiting England. I researched many companies and many different tours. Easy train from London to Morton in Marsh where Elaine was meeting us. Amazing towns seen and Elaine is one of the most wonderful full of life people I have ever met and we were blessed to have her as our tour guide! This is a 5 star tour for sure. Got back in plenty of time to take our train back to London.

5.00Very satisfying experience. Comfortable bus, precise times. Colin, the driver and guide, gave us a lot of information about the Cotswolds during the tour. He is also friendly, kind and nice. A beautiful day spent among the timeless villages of the English countryside
beautiful to see, but heavily overvisited in popular periods. The Cotswolds are best seen on foot.

3.00The Cotswolds are undeniably romantic: rolling hills, honey-coloured villages and an almost fairytale feel. The decor is beautiful and photogenic, with villages that exactly meet the expectations. At the same time, you are rarely alone. At the end of December it is extremely busy: through the villages you can sometimes literally walk over the heads and in pubs it is fighting for a place. That takes the charm off quickly. The atmosphere is more reminiscent of an open-air museum or even Disneyland than of the quiet English countryside. Traffic is heavy and makes moving between villages slow and restless. The real peace is only found outside the village centres. Walking through the fields, from village to village via public footpaths, is by far the most pleasant and probably the fastest means of transport. There you will still experience the scenery and silence that the Cotswolds are known for.

5.00We took the Cotswolds in a day tour at the end of November and can highly recommend it! We thoroughly enjoyed our day but what made it extra special was the wealth of information delivered by our guide and driver Jason. His passion for the Cotswolds and his attention to detail shone through and he went above and beyond to make sure we all had the best experience. He really is a credit to the Company! We are already planning our next trip to UK and will definitely include another tour with Go Cotswolds.

5.00I loved the tour! The guide was kind, well-informed, and organized, and kept our small band moving along to see a broad range of amazing sites without feeling rushed. Martin gave great advice and ideas as he drove the coach and once we got to a location, and we could explore to take photos or stop in shops as we wanted. I loved it. Especially as a solo woman traveler, it was great to be with a group to see this beautiful part of the countryside. I could choose to do what I wanted, or choose to join a few of the others at one of the stops (most were very friendly). The day went by at a nice pace, with a good amount of time at each stop. Martin did end up adjusting the tour slightly based on our pace as the day went on, swapping out one farther afield village for one that was closer (he didn't want anyone to miss their train home). I wouldn't have noticed unless he'd said something. The tour cost was more than reasonable for the fun (and comfortable... yay air conditioning!) and extensive tour of some gorgeous Cotswolds villages. I picked up some nice gifts to take home, some fun memories, and whole lot of photos. Next time I'm in the area, I plan to take one or more of their other available tours!

5.00Wonderful tour ☺️Family with children aged 3 and 9 years . Our driver was very nice and patient; during the tour we were told curiosities and stories about these fantastic lands. Good organization.
