You will see more scenic beauty & experience nature better on a bike tour than by car. This tour is delivered only by myself, Alasdair and my local colleagues. I am the business owner of Visit Oxford Tours. However, for insurance purposes, these tours are actually booked to be conducted privately via myself as a self employed sole trader offering you a personal service. They are not delivered as a product delivered by Visit Oxford Tours Ltd. This legal distinction will be reconfirmed in writing whenever any booking is received.
Default itinerary is 10am to 5.30pm.
The Cotswolds is a scenic part of England located only 10 minutes by train from Oxford or less than 30 minutes tax ride from Oxford. Oxford is only 60 minutes from London Paddington station. It's my pleasure to share these sights & heritage with you on an active cycling tour.
Participants must be fit and aged 14+ as the Cotswolds roads are lots of up and down cycling but the scenery plus the villages here are beautiful.

Use of bicycle
There are various options for where we can schedule drinks or lunch stops but please make sure to carry water and any snacks as this is an active day out and requires a moderate fitness level!

North Leigh Roman Villa
We will stop here for a brief visit to see the ruins of the sizeable Roman villa. This part of England also has many roads built on what were originally Roman roads. This site is free entry and it's about 4 miles cycle from our start point.
Crawley
Crawley is just one of several very picturesque little villages of hamlets which we pass through on the route. You can see many gorgeous traditional Cotswolds stone cottages and quaint gardens in these villages.

5.00As a solo tour, I got to see what I wanted to I see and stay there as long as I wanted to spend. Oliver, custom created the experience I was looking for. He was also very patient to the point of getting off the bikes and walking when the downward hill we were facing was above my biking skills level.

5.00We had an unforgettable day on this beautiful cycling tour!! We saw out of the way places we never would have found on our own, learned all sorts of interesting things from our amazing guide, and had a great meal at a beautiful pub. The equipment was high quality, the route was awesome (we encountered very few cars), and we always felt very safe. The e-bike allowed us to go as far as we wanted with only so much effort as we cared to contribute. This day will go down as one of those truly special ones in the adventure book! Book it, you won’t be sorry!
