For over half a century the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has been home to a growing collection of over 2.5 million artifacts, including one-of-a-kind recordings, films, instruments, and more. Visitors of all ages will discover the connections between country music’s past and artists of today in the interactive gallery space. Witness everything from Hank Williams’ cherished Martin guitar to Elvis Presley’s custom Cadillac, to outfits and instruments from all your favorite artists!
The museum is self-guided, and guests typically spend about 1.5-2 hours viewing our exhibits.

Real stories that must be told - that’s what you'll experience at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Start your journey through country music history with Sing Me Back Home: The Journey Begins, Folk Roots to the 1960s. This exciting multi-layered experience tells the story of country music’s humble folk roots, and tracks its evolution into the 1960s. In 2010, the museum opened an all-new exhibit experience, expanding on Sing Me Back Home with Dreaming My Dreams: The Journey Continues, 1960s to the Present. This expansion included the addition of hundreds of new artifacts and multimedia elements that focus on country music’s recent history. The history comes to life with every era of country music represented.

5.00Visited with my wife. Well worth it. A great tour of the development of country music. Just make sure you allow enough time - at least two hours. We nearly ran out. We also hesitated about paying for the add-on tour to RCA Studio B. Do NOT hesitate - go! Even though the studio is small, the visit and experience were awesome. Made so with the brilliance of our guide, Ron, who gave us an encyclopedic but also witty and atmospheric account and feel of the big stars who recorded in that very same studio - and often using that very same piano. Not to be missed. So go; and (though I'm sure the other guides are also good) if you can get Ron, do so!

5.00When visiting Nashville, this is a must. They have an incredible amount of photos, films, memorabilia, etc. on every country western star that you can think of. You can easily spend 2 - 3 hrs. enjoying this amazing place.

5.00The whole experience was great! The whole history told about how different cultures from around the world contributed to the songs of Country Music!! The history of the instruments was very interesting too!!

5.00The Country Music Hall of Fame is filled with wonderful displays about country music from the past to the future. This walk-through venue allows visitors to leisurely stroll and read the information at your own pace. This was a great part of visiting Nashville!
