For over half a century the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has been home to a growing collection of over 2.5 million artifacts, including one-of-a-kind recordings, films, instruments, and more. Visitors of all ages will discover the connections between country music’s past and artists of today in the interactive gallery space. Witness everything from Hank Williams’ cherished Martin guitar to Elvis Presley’s custom Cadillac, to outfits and instruments from all your favorite artists!
The museum is self-guided, and guests typically spend about 1.5-2 hours viewing our exhibits.

Real stories that must be told - that’s what you'll experience at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Start your journey through country music history with Sing Me Back Home: The Journey Begins, Folk Roots to the 1960s. This exciting multi-layered experience tells the story of country music’s humble folk roots, and tracks its evolution into the 1960s. In 2010, the museum opened an all-new exhibit experience, expanding on Sing Me Back Home with Dreaming My Dreams: The Journey Continues, 1960s to the Present. This expansion included the addition of hundreds of new artifacts and multimedia elements that focus on country music’s recent history. The history comes to life with every era of country music represented.

5.00Was a good family activity. Especially with the Taylor Swift recording studio and the other activities in the learning center. My granddaughter (10) liked being able to dress the female country singer electronically. She also enjoyed seeing all of Dolly Parton’s costumes.

5.00Take your time and see everything. Lots to see so wear comfortable shoes for walking and layers I got a bit warm so I took my sweater off.

5.00Wear comfortable shoes. It’s a lot of walking. There is so much to see. It’s like trying to see the Louvre in Paris in a single day. It’s 3 floors. We were there 3 hours and only finished 2 floors. I’d like to go back to finish the last floor.

5.00Lots to look at and lots to learn. Interactive displays and videos to watch. Spent 2 hours on our own thru museum. People were very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms on all floors and be sure to visit the gift shop and watch for deals. Outside they have schools come and perform in the little nook area which is pretty neat for local schools to be recognized. Easy in and out of museum. A win win for a nice tour of history.

5.00This was very interesting. We also did the Studio B tour but that is in a different review. I loved being able to see the outfits that were worn by the famous singers. The stairs were a little rough though but that was because of us having bad knees. We were told only a small percentage of their artifacts are on display. I can't imagine what treasures are not visible.
