City and Wine
Visit 2 or 3 artisan, family owned Hungarian winery at the country-side near Budapest. You will meet the winemakers and they will not only present their best wines, but you will be served with home made meal and/or traditional Hungarian flavored bites, depending the option you select. Taste 6-12 glasses wine in total and indulge the best tastes in a genuine Hungarian country-side environment. The Morning tour option offers you a quick journey to the countryside, with the tasting of 8 glasses of wine and completing your experience with a delicious home made Lunch. The Afternoon tour with Dinner option is a full-scale wine and meal experience in the countryside with 12 glasses of wine and a home-made Dinner. The Gastro-Bites with Wine tour offers a nice afternoon excursion to the Wine region where the focus is on showing the unique flavors of the Hungarian kitchen, with home made pate, sausage and many more, accompanied with 6 glassses of quality wine.

5.00We had a wonderful morning on this tour. Our guide was Peter who was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We done about 40 minutes out of Budapest to 2 wineries. Tasted very nice wines and met wonderful people. Even bought 3 bottles to take home. We ended with a Traditional Hungarian lunch at one of the wineries. Delicious. Absolutely recommend. Wonderful chance to see the countryside!

5.00The tour is very pleasant and personal. You can taste 4 wines per winery. They tell personal things about the winery and their passion. At the 2nd winery we got a really nice Hungarian lunch. All in all 100% recommended.

5.00This was an absolutely wonderful tour! We ended up on a private tour, as we were the only ones booked for this day/time. Our guide was very knowledgeable, providing us with a thorough and interesting history of Hungary and their wines. We really appreciated the information. We enjoyed each winery and appreciated the uniqueness of each one. Again, we learned so much about winemaking in Hungary. Our dinner was exceptional! We felt like we were visiting our Hungarian grandmother for supper. Very good, home-cooked dishes. We've done quite a few wine tours and this was one of the best!

5.00An extremely fun and engaging nighttime trip to visit the nearby vineyards. Our guide, Peter, was incredible: very knowledgeable about wine, culture, history, sports, and cuisine. We finished a tour of three family vineyards with a marvelous home cooked meal of game, cabbage salad, and more wine! Would highly recommend this tour to wine lovers and culture warriors.
