  The guide shared incredible knowledge about the plants and mountains, and I enjoyed taking photos and seeing wildlife at Cradle Mountain. Even joining alone, both the guide and other participants were friendly, making it a great experience.

  The tour guides Steve and Rob were great in providing good commentaries during the trip. They were both nice and accommodating. However, I was a bit disappointed that our stay in cradle mountain was just 1 hour and 10 minutes. I was expecting to stay there for at least 2 hours. It took more than two hours travelling in a bus to get to Cradle mountain and its a shame we could only stay there for just over 1 hour.

• Highly recommended to book.

  Macca was a dedicated and skilled driver/guide. Flexible, helpful and articulate. Extensive knowledge. Gave us ample time to capture memories in the photo. A hit! With a big smile on our faces and a very satisfied feeling, we got back on the bus to start the return journey.

  Dress in layers, wear sensible shoes and clothing, bring gloves & a hat or plan to stop & shop while enroute.

  We enjoyed the Cradle Mountain Day Tour. Our guide, Steve, was fantastic and very accommodating. I expected a bit more time at Dove Lake, but the group was mostly older and not keen on walking, so we felt a little rushed and didn’t get to fully enjoy the short walks. It was a cold, wet day, which made it a bit tricky. Lunch was fine, nothing too exciting. Overall, it’s a great way to get a quick look at Cradle Mountain, and we’d definitely recommend it.

  This experience is well worth the early start. Unfortunately for the trip I went on the weather was dreadful at Cradle Mountain, however that’s out of everyone’s control, the must did clear and we did see the mountain. Our guide Steve was excellent. He made the day enjoyable for us by giving us a choice of some places to visit, the honey producer and the cheese farm. He was extremely knowledgeable about Tasmania and particularly this area. Wear warm clothing and sensible shoes for walking.

  We loved to hear the Gustav & Kate’s challenges and to hear the final moments. Sheffield stops were the best but would have liked to spend a bit more time at the Ranger’s office to look at the old photos and album. Really enjoyed Wilhelm cottage. Macca (driver and guide) was AMAZING, but needs to work a bit on his jokes & get his “botany” sorted 😂 Overall, a lovely trip
