  This workshop was a gift for my daughter’s 15th birthday. Hugo is a very calm person. The experience almost felt like a form of meditation. Everything is explained very clearly and you learn a lot about how to mix colours and how watercolour paint behaves. I used to be a bit daunted by watercolours, but now I feel more confident and ready to try this new experience once back home :). We all had a great time and it was a peaceful break in the middle of our crazy day of sightseeing. Thank you, Hugo :) I’d definitely recommend it.

  Excellent tutor, kind, funny, well read and knowledgeable. Very patient with beginners and encouraging to intermediates. A pleasure to share his company - and learn from him!

  We loved the experience, Hugo is an excellent host and teacher, which made the morning even more special, We painted a view of the Don Luis do Porto Bridge! A disgrace, but with the guidance of Hugo was quite fun We recommend!

  Very nice experience! Hugo showed us the different steps to realize our watercolor. Relaxing and pleasant experience. Hugo also speaks good French, we appreciated his advice. Very good activity to bring back a little souvenir and make a little pose during the day.

  My daughter and I spent a few days in Porto. And we wanted to do an activity in which to share a nice experience. It was a total hit that surprised us both. In a lovely setting, Hugo taught us the techniques of watercolor painting. The process was very enjoyable and fun, and the end result surprising. Highly recommended.

  We went to Porto for our anniversary trip. I thought it would be fun to make our own souvenirs. This class was highly recommended and I booked it. I'm so glad that we went. It was fun, educational, and relaxing. Hugo did an excellent job of walking us through how to paint a scene (pre-determined). We walked away with "masterpieces" of our own and wonderful, personalized memories of our trip to Porto. Thank you, Hugo for being a great instructor and sharing your love of art with us.

  A very beautiful moment shared with my mother during an aquarel class. Hugo is an excellent pedagogue: explains with clarity, devotes time to each step and allows even beginners to leave with a very beautiful painting. The studio is very pleasant, we feel welcomed, as in a real space of artist. All the material is made available — just come, listen and put into practice. My mom and I loved it. Thank you, Hugo. I highly recommend this experience.
