Our studio is located in a typical and narrow street of morro da Sé Cathedral, in a walking distance you will find Sé Cathedral, Ribeira, D. Luis I Bridge, Guindais, São Bento Station, and the neighbourhood of Sé itself it's a typical and magical place full of inspiring spots.

I'm a local Fine Artist Painter, lived & studied Arts for all my life abroad and at my home town Porto, a few years ago along with my wife Silvia decided to open our Studio Gallery in the most inspiring neighbourhood of Porto. The neighbourhood of Sé Cathedral right at the historical centre, close to Ribeira, D. Luis Bridge, Clerigos Tower it's in a narrow and typical street off the beaten path where I have everything I need to do my Art and host you in a Unique Painting Class...

5.00We loved painting along with Hugo. He was delightful and informative. My husband had never painted before and did very well with Hugo's detailed instructions. Whether you have done watercolor painting or not had any experience at all I highly recommend painting with Hugo.

5.00My mother and I had a fabulous time learning and painting with Hugo! She is an experienced watercolor artist and I am not. Hugo guided us throigh each step and we are both happy with how they turned out! Will be coming back again.

5.00We stumbled upon Hugo’s studio during our time in Porto and am so happy we did! He was painting something when we stopped in the first time. We loved it so much that we asked when he’d finish that one and picked it up a day later! Hugo was such a nice guy and we love our beautiful watercolor painting. Next time we are on Porto we’ll definitely do one of his painting classes, they look like so much fun!

5.00This workshop was a gift for my daughter’s 15th birthday. Hugo is a very calm person. The experience almost felt like a form of meditation. Everything is explained very clearly and you learn a lot about how to mix colours and how watercolour paint behaves. I used to be a bit daunted by watercolours, but now I feel more confident and ready to try this new experience once back home :). We all had a great time and it was a peaceful break in the middle of our crazy day of sightseeing. Thank you, Hugo :) I’d definitely recommend it.

5.00We loved the experience, Hugo is an excellent host and teacher, which made the morning even more special, We painted a view of the Don Luis do Porto Bridge! A disgrace, but with the guidance of Hugo was quite fun We recommend!
