Our guide was wonderful. She took great care of us and always found a place in the shade for us to stand as she told us about the ruins.

Our tour guide and driver were fantastic. Since it was Easter the palace was closed it was made very clear before booking that the tour would be different. Instead of the Palace tour, we would see Folk dancing at the second stop. Not a problem as it was a huge holiday and they were very transparent. Our guide gave us the schedule when we got to the second stop and unfortunately the only restaurant was reservation only with a prix fixe menu as it was Easter, which was nothing that could have been foreseen by the tour operator. So we grabbed snacks at a shop to wait for the folk dancing show an hour later. Except when that time came they would not let our tour watch the folk dancing show, only the cruise specific tour. Our tour operator argued to the best of her ability as we had been promised as part of our tour this, and they wouldn’t budge. So we left. That was a huge bummer, and part of the reason I wouldn’t give this specific tour 5 stars.

This tour was excellent. Driver and guide made it personal, offering options beyond the online description. Iskander, our guide, spoke excellent English and created a broad historical background for the sights we were viewing. Our small party had a 15 passenger van to ourselves.

Good! Informative! New small bus that was hard to get around in. Thank you for the time. Good pastry’s in the old town.
