Learn to ski cross-country skiing and admire beautiful landscapes with a local guide. Spend a nice day or half exploring the nature! This trip is suitable for beginners as the guide will make a skiing lesson first. You will learn traditional cross-country skiing and you will have a chance to try skate skiing if you like. This trip is a great opportunity to take nature pictures and with some luck you may also see footprints of wild animals or even animals themselves. You may try sliding on even surface as well as downslopes. Warm beverages and snacks are offered during this trip. Great fun for all! Two starts a day: At 10 AM and 2 PM for half-day trip. Full Day Trip is 5,5 hours, starts at 10AM. Snacks and warm beverages are offered during this tour. All day trip includes lunch, too.

5.00My first cross country skiing with Lapland Welcome was phenomenal. As a beginners, my husband and I had the most patient instructor who tied up even our shoes for us. Once on the trail Gustaw taught us the ABC’s of cross-country skiing and the adventure began. After a couple of falling (just another part of the fun) we had a break for some hot beverage and Finnish cookies. We ended up skiing on a frozen lake. I always felt safe and confident with our instructor. I’m delighted we picked this activity in Rovaniemi, now is already included as my favorite in the snow.

5.00The tour was awesome. Deserves more than 10 stars. Rita was an amazing tour guide. It was our 1st time skiing. Me and my wife had the time of our life. Highly recommended tour. The scenery was beautiful 😍

Our guides were knowledgeable and ensured we had a safe and enjoyable experience, always paying close attention to our needs. This was one of the best outdoor activities I've done in a long time, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting and fulfilling adventure. 5.00Great beginner and refresher cross country skiing experience,with a brilliant,patient lady instructor. Very helpful staff,any equipment needed is provided.Good meeting place,easy to find. Transfer by minibus provided to local forest ski picturesque location. Family friendly,we were with a family group with children.Hot drinks and snacks provided. Excellent fun and good exercise.A great activity.

5.00Fabulous half day trip! All of us were first timers - our guide explained everything clearly, had a smile on his face the whole time and continuously checked on everyone - each going at our own pace. I’ve only been skiing twice and didn’t actually like it. I booked this as my partner wanted to try cross country and I’m so glad I did. The track has grooves in it which your skis slot into, making it so much easier than downhill skiiing. I can’t recall our guide’s name but he was originally from Chile and was super patient with all our group. We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

5.00absolutely fantastic experience. Amazing scenery Skiiing through the forest. Much easier than down House skiing so don’t let that put you off. Our gate Thomas was terrific/ prodessional and good fun
Last minute cancellations, poor service

1.00Cancelled on us at 11:20pm when we were to do it 10am on the following morning. Luckily we got booked with a much better tour provider. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want to gamble on your holiday activities bookings. No apology either.

5.00Our guide Tuija gave us beginners a great introduction to Nordic skiing. Highly recommend! The three hour tour is sufficient to get a good idea of the sport.
