- We recommend starting early.
- The Cu Chi Tunnels attract visitors daily, becoming particularly congested on weekends and Vietnamese holidays. It's not uncommon to find long lines at every stop, making for a packed experience on any given day.
- A half-day usually suffices. Aim to reach the tunnels either before 8:30 AM or around 2:30 PM. By this time, the morning queues have dwindled, and the afternoon temperature is more pleasant.

Cu Chi Tunnels
8:00: We will pick you up at your hotel to start the Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour. We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were “American Killing Heroes” (a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed). We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500-pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. Also, you can try real gun shooting for extra (only for over 18 year-olds). At 02.30 pm – 03.00 pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and finish Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour.

5.00It was an awesome experience and can’t imagine how the VC who fought the war against the American. The tunnels is so narrow and there are dining hall, medical room, resting area all under the ground. Most amazing , all is done by bare hands with small shovel.

5.00My solo trip with Kim was great. She was very informative and able to answer all my questions. She also knew how to avoid the crowds and get us to the front of the queues, which was excellent!
Overall was good the only hurdle we found was that the van was not comfortable it had very high chairs we could not see

5.00We had a great experience learning about the war and how the tunnels were used and built. The tour was informative and very targeted to the level of my kids (13 and 10) wife and myself. Betty was a great tour guide and had a lot of enthusiasm. We really enjoyed it.

5.00The tour was very informative. The one on one experience was definitely worth the money. It is not as good of an experience with the big groups. The tour guide is very knowledgeable about the details about the tunnels and how they were used. I was able to see everything in a shorter time because my guide only explained to me. I was truly treated as a VIP. I recommend this tour to any small group. It will be a better experience.
