Not only was the trip to and the snorkeling at Vieques memorable and stimulating but the crew was wonderful — both personable and professional. They were solicitous of our food and beverage needs but also engaging and knowledgeable about the islands we passed. The excursion also gave us enough time for all the activities — snorkeling and swimming on Vieques as well as get to know and converse with our fellow “sailors.” It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and we would highly recommend the experience!

Could have been much better. I initially paid $200 to go to Culebra and the bus left me even though I was there 15 minutes before the departure time on the ticket. They pushed me and my mom to another island that is not as nice as Culebra. The staff it’s very annoying. They kept calling and calling when I was driving over there. Saying that we should hurry up and be there before 8:15. We got there at eight and still we had to wait for other people we end up leaving at 8:40. I believe they were trying to just push people to the other island Icacos. When we finally got to this island, it was pretty but the part that was really annoying. Is that other boats were snorkeling, and they did not allow us to snorkel because “weather conditions”. Weather was perfectly fine. The drinks on the bar are not included so I had to pay an overprice amount for Medalla beers on top that I paid $200 for a trip that was supposed to be in a different place. I have done this in other places Hawaii, Mexico and Honduras and the experience has been so much better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our snorkeling and beach experience. All of us were novice snorkelers, but the guides helped us, and adults and kid got the hang of it quickly. We saw sea turtles, a ray, and lots of cool fish. We went to Vieques instead of Culebra due to weather, but we didn't mind. It was beautiful either way. Lunch was delicious, the boat was comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, and unlimited drinks were a nice touch.

The Sail Getaways crew, with Captain Benny was fantastic. So attentive to the guests and making sure everyone had a great experience. As far as snorkeling goes it was good not great. There was a lot more down time on the beach than we anticipated, probably would have brought a ball or book had we realized. And we were not the only cruise anchored and snorkeling. So the moderate group of 40 became significantly larger in the area. If you are looking for a nice day on the water this is the trip for you.

Great experience! We met up with the company in the early morning, went over on the boat to the first snorkeling spot. The boat ride was great but pretty bumpy so take Dramamine beforehand and don’t sit in the back if you don’t want to get wet. The journey took around an hour. Then we went snorkeling on our own for around an hour over a reef in tamarind bay. It was very pretty tons of fish and someone even saw a turtle. They give out a floating device you can tie around your waist along with snorkeling gear. They set up a lunch of make your own sandwich (plenty of veggies for vegetarian options, along with a vegetarian pasta salad and a veggie bean salad). Also had alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks (the virgin pina colada was great!). Then we went to flamenco beach for 2 hours. Absolutely beautiful. You do have to wade from waist deep water to get from the boat to the shore so you can’t bring anything except for a phone/small wallet that they can bring over in a dry bag. After that they transported us back to the starting point (less bumpy than before, but still bumpy), which took around an hour, and served us fresh fruits. Amazing trip, great crew, would do again!

Amazing beach experience! The snorkeling is great as well! Bring your own towel and a dry bag is suggested. Great experienced crew!

An average tour based on my experience Pro - nice staff - unlimited drinks, decent food &fruits (included in the price) Con - We booked the tour because we expected Flamenco Beach but eventually we went to Vieques due to the water condition, I do understand the operator could decide the final destination but I'm still a bit disappointed - The beach we went to is not very attractive to be honest - We only snorkel for less than 1 hour in one spot, and the rest of the day actually is a bit boring (you chill for 2 hours on a not very stunning beach) - The operation time is a bit too early, you have to be there before 7:45am. The tour ends around 2:00pm. It would be more reasonable from 10:00-16:00, then you can snorkel in warmer water and enjoy the beach during the noon with the best sunshine

They should be clear on the trip title and description that this is not necessarily an excursion to Culebra island. By surprise I found out that we were going to Viejes only when the captain did the debriefing on the boat. We went to Viejes which is an ok island. Everything was fine, average.
