Wonderful tour it was really special seeing the village, they were so warm and open, even getting there was a cool experience. Our tour guide was lovely and super friendly, you are also kindly given food to try cooked by the village elders. It was all a beautiful experience. Highly reccomend this tour when in Alotau.

A wonderful tour and the tour team was excellent and very friendly and helpful. I would comment the tour company when you visit PNG.

Was about what I expected The guide Ben was very knowledgeable. The village experience was nice. Children were very friendly. It was extremely hot waiting in the bus for the tour to start. The rest of the tour after the village was too quick with very little content.

Great place, we went via cruise ship in May. Friendly locals, tour guide spoke english, very & humid hot weather, saw tribal dancers in full gear, was a great show, plenty of wooden crafts to buy. Definitely have kina on you & not aussie money. Absolutely haggle they love it.

The village was just so natural We were greeted warmly History of cooking in the clay pots was very interesting The food was lovely The children were amazing polite and friendly In fact I recommend a visit The bus driver and guide we brilliant Yes I would definitely go again

Overall, we had a good experience of culture in village life. We were welcomed warmly and shown the life lived in the village at Alotau.
Interesting visit with friendly villagers but over priced.

Extremely welcoming and friendly at the village. Transportation was old with a flat battery - the bus had to be bump started to get it going. Over priced. Would be great if all the cash went to the villagers themselves.

We enjoyed this tour, Margaret is an excellent guide. We learned about life in a village and were taken to see how local families live. We were treated to the local fruit and saw how traditional meals are cooked. On the way we experienced the beautiful countryside. We travelled in a local minibus, which meant we were a small group.

We were so disappointed with this local tour. We were picked up in the very nasty van with broken windshield with no AC. They took us to visit the village & the local market. Only spent 2 hours & charging us $80 each. In the tour itinerary description stated the tour is 4 hours and the lunch is included. We confronted the driver and the tour guide, they said that they were told only 2 hours tour & no lunch. We were so disappointed with Viator, how could they contracted with the unreliable local tour agency. This is really bad experience for us.
