• A magical experience for folks who do not snorkel or dive

  I do not swim at all, so was nervous about going on this helmet diving walk. I found it was truly no more difficult than walking; made safe and enjoyable due to the arrangements by Sea Trek. Our tour only had three people. We had two divers with us - one capturing the experience on camera / video, but still able to assist if necessary. Having someone else take photos made it simple for folks participating in the tour to simply enjoy looking around as we walked on the ocean floor up to 20-ft (6 m) deep.

  This was by far one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had! I have to admit that I was super nervous at first, but the guides were patient and very helpful throughout the experience. I’d highly recommend doing this activity!

  This was my first time doing this and it was great, the staff were professional, kind, respectful and patient. I was scared at first but they reassured me that all is good and kept on checking to make sure that I was alright. No swimming needed!!

  Staff seemed to have sufficient basic knowledge but lacked care, customer service, and overall self awareness. My friend and I arrived at least 20 minutes in advance of our scheduled time to allow for time to change clothing and get sufficient instruction. We had to wait for two latecomers which cut into our one hour experience time. The staff was immediately fascinated by the latecomers in bikinis and moved them to the front of the line and allowed them to go down first while putting us as next to last even though we arrived first. They allowed them time for a personal underwater photo shoot while the rest of us peasants waited patiently for an opportunity to be seen and photographed. Out of the 189 photos for which I paid $50, there were roughly 8 of me - and those weren’t solo pics, they were with my friend who also got no full body solo pics. Many of mine were right up in my face with one covered by the fish we only saw once, so it was pointless. The photographer was too busy taking 50+ pictures of those in bikinis and catering to them while one of the young guides blew underwater bubbles to try to entertain and distract us. We paid for a view of the underwater and a chance to see fish as well as an opportunity for it to be captured in photos - not the bufoonery. After 8 minutes underwater (clocked by my friend’s Apple Watch) we were directed to make a U turn and come right back up while the latecomers who went in first remained for more pics that everyone else had to pay for. The young guide’s behavior wasn’t surprising as it was clear they weren’t thinking with their brains, but the photographer was an older gentleman who should have known better and paid attention to those of us who paid the same price for the same service but got cheated out of a once in a lifetime opportunity. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated with such disrespect or disregard! We were on a cruise ship with a tight timeline, so there wasn’t an opportunity to do anything else. This was a total waste of time and money in Curacao. Unless they hire more mature staff or those who care about making this a positive experience for ALL CUSTOMERS- I would NOT recommend this or bother wasting your money. This was an Expensive mistake.

  They did not lie when they said you did not need to know how to swim to do this. This was honestly the coolest , beautiful, and most amazing experience I’ve ever had. The men that prepared us for this underwater trek were amazing and the nicest. I wish I could remember their names. Our guide into the water was also amazingggg and he did not hold back on capturing every moment for us. I am honestly over joyed by this experience. I will visit this Island again and I will absolutely do this all over again. I loved everyyy single moment.
