  Our tour of the Pyramids was made 10x better by our guide, Ahmed Elsayed. Their deep knowledge of Egyptology turned a pile of stones into a fascinating story. He explained the engineering marvels and the hidden history of the Sphinx in a way that kept us hooked the whole time.Also Grand Egypt Museum great and must to visit If you want more than just photos, this is the tour to book!"Thanks Misk Tours

  The Misk Tours was very well-organized from start to finish. Our guide Ahmed Elsayed spoke excellent English and was very attentive to the ours needs. The itinerary was a great mix of famous sites . This is an excellent introduction to Cairo for first-time visitors We had amazing excursion with Ahmed Elsayed and the driver Hegazy Visited Pyramid and Grand museum Cairo We highly recommend this guided tour

  

• Amazing solo trip for extended layover

  Had a great, full day with Ahmed Elsayed (guide) and Muhammad Hegazy (driver) during a 16+ hr layover. Booked the day before as my layover in Egypt was just added to my itinerary given another flight cancellation. Communication was prompt from Ahmed in advance of my airport pick-up and all logistics were smooth and well-planned to maximize sightseeing. I was able to visit everywhere on my list: Saqqara, Dahshur, Memphis, and Giza Ahmed was extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. He also made sure that the lunch location served food that would suit my dietary preferences (pescatarian). Muhammad was very kind and anticipated my needs - be provided water and snacks throughout the day, was very prompt at pick-ups, and took me to see a lovely view of the city before dropping me back at the airport. A plus was that I was able to bring and keep my luggage in the car. Great value for the cost given the ability I had to personalize my day and how swiftly we were able to move not being in a large tourist group.   We spent a wonderful day with Rawan and his fellow driver. The day allowed us to discover the main places of Cairo and Rawan managed the time to allow us to navigate the Nile. Thank you for these discoveries and all the information provided.

  Our guide Ahmed Elsayed and our driver Mohammed Farag was soooo professional we told them what we wanted to do and they planned everything perfectly. Ahmed was so knowledgeable about egyptian history. Everything was awesome from start to finish. I truly can’t thank them enoug not to mention Ahmed is great with the camera.When my friends and family visits egypt i know exactly who to send them to 10/10 would recommend

  From start to finish this tour was amazing. We chose this particular tour as we were able to choose which activities/sites we wanted to see. We chose 3 pyramid sites and were able to see the changes through time as pyramid building developed. Our guide Ahmed was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and we learned so much. And our driver was very skilled at getting us through the crazy Cairo traffic! I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who wants a personal and detailed tour experience.

  What a wonderful way to spend time during a long layover in Cairo. This was a second visit to Egypt for my mom and I and admittedly I was reluctant to take another tour of the Giza area expecting it to be a bit redundant. However, lots of things have changed in Cairo (new museums and newly built restaurants and tourism centers near the pyramids etc.) and we found the tour to be quite refreshing. We were met at the airport as planned by our guide Ahmed who presented us with light snacks and drinks to start out our tour. Unfortunately our allergies prevented us from enjoying those snacks but to our surprise, our driver Abdul made an unexpected stop to grab fresh drinks and snacks for us without even asking. This was such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of our day. Abdul and Ahmed expertly navigated us through the city pointing out several historical sites we'd somehow missed on our previous travels to Egypt even allowing us to stop take pictures along the way. With a delayed flight and therefore slightly shortened day, we opted to focus our time on the Giza Plateau, adding on the tickets to enter and climb to the burial chamber of the Great Pyramid. Ahmed provided a comprehensive overview of the history of the site and to my surprise, spoke of many things I'd missed during our first tour of the area. He graciously offered to take dozens of photos of us and helped us to find less crowded vantage points to do so. We wrapped up our Plateau tour with a visit to the Sphinx then made our way to one of the local rooftop hotel venues for lunch with an amazing view of the pyramids off in the distance. The food was delicious and generously portioned and the staff there incredibly nice. They played music and provided service with a smile even offering to charge my phone while we ate. Our day ended with a brief visit to a small papyrus shop filled with beautiful art covering the sheets of paper made from local plants. The owner provided us a short lesson on how the paper is made and allowed us to view the different items on display in the showroom. We opted not to take in the new museum as we would have had to rush due to our late arriving flight and instead spent the remainder of our day slowly making our way back to the airport. I couldn't recommend this tour more, especially if you're lucky enough to be paired with Abdul and Ahmed. They provided a comfortable and very informative update on all the things that have changed in Egypt since our last visit and were such pleasant company to have all day long. I wish we could have seen more during our short time, and certainly won't hesitate to book another tour with these guys on our next visit to the region.

  We had a 7 hour layover in Cairo which is really only 4 1/2 if you count leaving and re-entry. We didn't want to sit for that long so we booked a individual, create your own tour.
