5.00We took a guided tour of Manuel Antonio with guides Javier and Roger. They were extremely knowledgeable and showed us a lot of animals that we would not have found on our own, plus helped us get great pictures and videos! $48 covered admission fee (skip the line), a snack and the tour — well worth it! Highly recommend this tour with these guides!

5.00We took a tour of Manuel Antonio National Park yesterday. The park is beautiful and filled with wildlife. Our guide was Javier about whom I cannot say enough! He is very knowledgeable, articulate and skilled at locating birds, reptiles, mammals and especially sloths! He is absolutely a wonderful person to explore the part with. In addition to his knowledge of the flora and fauna he truly seems to love nature and wants to teach and inspire his guests...he is incredibly patient and goes above and beyond to locate animals that are very difficult to find and see. He has his powerful scope which he can focus right on the animal so that you can see it as if it is at arms length. Please book with him! You will be very happy you did

It is definitely a must hire a guide prepared to explain in a pleasant and fun way to the little ones, hear them see the sloths ❤️ we took wonderful photos and videos and was until the last moment with us guiding us at all times! Thanks to its telescope and adaptor, we took incredible photos and could see several sloths, monkeys, among other animals and with excellent explanation. Their advice and recommendations on other activities, made my days in Costa Rica perfect. 100% recommended!

You can walk in the forest alone with your own binoculars but why would you if you could have Javier as your guide?

5.00It didn’t take long to notice that Javier had keen perceptions of what lurked beneath our awareness of the incredible creatures in Manuel Antonio. Multiple times during our private tour he was the guide among others who spotted the most interesting and hidden gems of the forest. He used what appeared to be superior equipment to show us something spectacular then had the decency to tip off guides in the area of what he had found so the larger groups could benefit (and huddle around) while we were off the see more surprises. You can walk through the woods in many places alone. This is not a place to trust your own instincts unless you have your own equipment and keen perceptions. Even then, I seriously doubt most of us could find what Javier’s naked eye and powerful scope can capture. Totally worth the money to have our small group guided by Javier.
