• Personalized tour for sloths and superb videos!

  Javier is a terrific guide, 6 out of 5 stars! We visited Manuel Antonio the day before by ourselves and were disappointed to not see any sloths; he took care to focus on the sloths and pointed one out within the first 15min, for 5 total during the whole tour (both three-toed and a sleeping two-toed). He also found the best angle and had us wait patiently as a sloth climbed down towards the ground, so our group had a rare close look! Javier is incredible too at taking clear photos and videos through the telescope of the animals' faces, even as the animals move through the treetops. We saw and learned facts about squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, capuchins, bats, basilisk lizards, frogs, birds, plants, and more. On top of all this, we weren't at the park during the right time of day to see scarlet macaws, but afterwards Javier directed us to a place in town to spot them later in the evening, and even shared his photos from an earlier tour. This was an amazing experience to cap off our Costa Rica trip!

  We really enjoyed the park tour! Javier is an excellent guide. He shares so much information, tells fascinating facts, and explains everything perfectly in both English and Spanish. Most impressively, he manages to spot animals that are so well hidden — it’s amazing! He also has a telescope that allowed us to observe different animals up close and take beautiful photos.   We enjoyed a unique walk through Manuel Antonio Park with our guide Javier (licensed). He knows how to find the right places to spot a wide variety of animals and he takes his time. He passes on all his knowledge and it is pleasant to listen to him. His price is very correct and cheaper than our hotel offered it. He has professional equipment and takes very nice pictures.   We had a great tour with Javier! Really enjoyed the wildlife and nature in this park. He showed us a lot of animals with his scope, which we could have never spotted on our own. We really recommend to do a tour with him!

  We had a great tour today with Javier in Manuel Antonio National Park. He showed us a lot of different wild animals and plants with his scope. He even made great close up pictures for us. Without him we would have never found that many animals!

  I did a tour in Manuel Antonio with Javier and I’m really happy I decided to book it. At first I wanted to visit the park without a guide, but afterwards I was so glad I changed my mind. I would definitely recommend doing a tour. You see so much more than when walking through the park on your own. Not only bigger animals like sloths and monkeys, but also lizards, birds, snakes, and many other amazing animals that I would never have spotted myself. Javier is a very friendly, professional, and enthusiastic guide and he is incredibly good at spotting wildlife. We had only just entered the park and had already seen so many animals. On top of that, he takes amazing photos and videos of the animals through his telescope and shares them all after the tour. • All you need and beyond. No regrets

  I met Javier by coincidence and made the good decision to do the tour with him. He worked hard to give us the best possible experience and managed even to keep our 3yo for 2 hours on board. It’s not only that Javier sees animals where we see nothing, he also has the equipment so I had great photos of the animals after.

  We had a great time and saw a lot of sloths, a howler monkey, bats, basilisk's, iguanas etc. My toddler had the best time and Javier was really great at keeping him engaged. He is very knowledgeable and good at spotting and finding animals. Totally worth the time and effort. We got nat geo type pics with his scope.

  Javier was a true delight! He is extremely knowledgeable about everything in Manuel Antonio park, the animals, plants, biology, and can easily translate for you. We weren’t planning to take a tour, and SO glad that were roped into it, we would NEVER have seen any of the animals that we did! Thank you Javier, you made our trip one of a kind!

  Our hike was a wonderful blend of animal sightings and local insight. Javier was a great and knowledgeable guide, and gave extra effort in all facets of our tour.
