  My tour with Fan in Shanghai was truly exceptional! One of the best experiences I’ve had anywhere. From the very first moment, it was clear that Fan isn’t just a guide; he’s someone who genuinely cares about making your time unforgettable. He knew so much about every place we visited, from famous landmarks to hidden corners of the city, and he shared stories and insights that brought Shanghai to life in a completely new way. What made the experience truly special, though, was that Fan was not just a guide, he became friend 🥹 He was thoughtful, kind, and incredibly patient, while we waited for rain to stop and he also took amazing photos of me throughout the tour, truly some of the best travel pictures I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for more than just a tour, but a genuine connection and unforgettable memories, I can’t recommend Fan highly enough. He made Shanghai not only fascinating, but also warm and personal.

  We booked with Ming 2 tour and both of them were incredible. He brought us to a less known to foreigners water town where you could feel an authentic vibe. On the other day he brought us to explore the city, giving us lots of insight that just a native could have. Moreover, he was really kind to us and gave us so many tips! A plus? He is an incredible photographer that can capture all the magical moment.

  Fan Ming was the best. We did every form of travel in shanghai. He is very knowledgeable, with excellent history of Shanghai. The price was good and we did so much. Anyone going to Shanghai chase this guy up, he is the best. Lots of photos transferred to my phone from his. Terrific 3 days.

  We had an amazing experience with Ming! He took us to Jinxi and Zhujiajiao. We loved Jinxi—one very few ancient towns still very well preserved. Ming was very accommodating and knowledgeable and we had lots of fun! We’d definitely recommend a tour with him in Shanghai and in the water towns!

  My "Individual Private Tour in Shanghai The Bund Yu Garden Zhujiajiao" about Viator was simply perfect and exceeded my expectations in every way. As a solo traveler, it was particularly important to me to find a tour that would adapt to my individual wishes and allow me to immerse myself deeply in the culture – and that is exactly what it was. The planning was outstanding. All my interests were taken into account and a tailor-made itinerary was created that allowed me as a solo traveler to experience Shanghai in all its diversity. The individual attention was fantastic and made me feel in good hands at all times. An absolute highlight was the culinary experience at 3 Warehouse Restaurant. The Peking duck served there was simply delicious and the other local specialities were also a real treat. In general, I was allowed to taste a lot of delicious local food throughout the tour, which made the experience even more authentic. Culturally there was also a lot to discover. The visit to Jade Buddha Temple was impressive, especially the small, peaceful cat temple inside. The Shanghai History Museum offered fascinating insights into the city's rich history, and it was exciting to see Shanghai's Zero Center Point at the Park Hotel. A special experience was the bike tour through the streets of Shanghai. This allowed me to experience the vibrant life of the city from a whole new perspective and immerse myself in everyday life. The visit to the Communist Party Museum was also very revealing and offered interesting insights into China's recent history. The tea tasting was a wonderful way to relax and learn more about Chinese tea culture. And the evening crowned the tour: The start of the lights show at The Bund was a stunning sight, and the subsequent walk through the illuminated Yu Garden at night was absolutely magical and beautiful. In summary, I highly recommend this individual private tour to anyone who wants to experience Shanghai in a personal and intensive way, but especially solo travelers who are looking for a perfectly organized and flexible exploration tour. The flexibility, excellent organisation and the opportunity to explore the city off the beaten track make this tour an unforgettable experience.
