Day 01 Fly Addis Ababa to Semera and drive to Ahmed Ella You will meet our staff upon arrival at Semera airport and drive to Ahmed Ella visiting beautiful landscape of solidified lava, rock, sand and occasional palm lined oasis after you pass several small hamlets start visiting Ahmad Ella village total population of more than 500 people to see the life style of the local Afar people. Finally, precede to Salt Lake Asale a huge salty lake where you will swim in a natural pool while enjoying sunset reflections of the salty ground. Overnight camping at Ahmed Ella
Erta Ale
Day 02 Visit Dallol Then Drive to Erta Ale After breakfast you will drive to Dallol and visit the difference landscape formed by volcanic activity (125 meter below sea level, one of the lowest and hottest places in the world) colourful salts mining and different terrestrial places formed by volcanic activity like bubbling oily lake creates a different experience of your trip. Then we back to Ahmad Ella for lunch then proceed to Erta Ale. We spend the night watching the dramatic action of the boiling lava. Erta Ale ranks one of the most alluring and physically challenging natural attractions anywhere in Ethiopia. It is a shield volcano with a base diameter of 30 km and 1km square caldera at its summit. Erta Ale contains the world’s only permanent lava lake. Erta Ale is 613 meters, with a lava lake, one of only five in the world, at the summit. It is notable for being the longest existing lava lake, present since the early years of the twentieth century. Overnight camping at Erta Ale

5.00We had a very good experience visiting Ethiopia with Aman Tour. Aman helped us organize the tour to include all the objectives we wanted to visit, helped us with domestic flights booking and stayed in contact with us throughout the entire visit. Our teams for the three places we visited were: Adis Ababa - guide Abe and driver George, Danakil depression - guide Solomon and driver Kudos, Lalibela - guide Fikru and driver Orion. All of them were excellent people, eager to answer questions related to local culture and history, and help us visit the locations we were interested in. They also offered us guidance regarding local food and souvenir shops. Transport and acommodation were also good in all three locations. 5.00Initially, going to Danakil seemed difficult. I thought it would take a lot of stamina from us, that there would be nutritional problems, safety problems. But we were very lucky to find this tour. The organization was at the highest level, our hikes were both busy and physically easy, breakfast, lunch and dinner were very delicious, overnight arrangements - convenient and safe, transfers to and from airports - always on time. I am very happy that we have joined this tour and our trip to Lalibela, and that we have also seen Addis Ababa as part of this tour. Thank you to the entire tour team - guides, chefs, drivers and organizers!

He kept in close contact and was always willing to answer any questions we had. Our guide Solomon made the trip so enjoyable. 5.00It's an incredible tour. Great organization, guys try to help with any problems that arise and are always in touch. I had my doubts about arranging such a difficult and long tour, but it was done in the best possible way. You will visit incredible places and experience the culture and nature of Ethiopia. I highly recommend it. Travelers, come to Ethiopia, such places should be visited!

5.00I did the 5 day tour to Lalibela & Dankil with 1 day in Addis Ababa. I had the BEST time here, with Solomon the guide from Danakil and Niko driving us to the best locations and beating all of my expectations ! The operators from Aman office are amazingly sweet and funny, as a sole female traveler I felt really safe and at ease. They are really knowledgeable and love to share about their culture and everything Ethiopia has to offer. The accommodations booked in Addis & Lalibela were also great, I recommend asking for the Maribela in Lalibela, it’s incredibly beautiful and luxurious. The camps I stayed in Dankil also offered a thrilling experience of sleeping amongst in open wind I cannot recommend this tour enough, it was one of the best trips of my life. You can book it your eyes closed, knowing you’re paying exactly what it is worth. And if you do, ask for Solomon in Danakil ! Thank you again, hope to be back with the best crew !

5.00Our trip to the Danakil Depression was absolutely surreal! Solomon, our guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable and made the whole experience unforgettable. His passion for the history and geology of the region was contagious, and he kept us safe and comfortable the entire time. The landscapes were like nothing I’ve ever seen. If you’re visiting Ethiopia, this tour is a must, and Solomon is the best guide to have with you!

5.00On the Danakil Depressions 3 Days Tours & 2 Days Lalibela with Aman Ethiopia Tours, my friends and I had an amazing time. With its harsh terrain and amazing geological features, the Danakil Depression was an exciting journey. The tour guide, Solomon, was very friendly. He allowed us enough time to enjoy the place. We also had a breathtaking time at Lalibela. This journey is unique because it combines history with adventure. The vacation was outstanding because of their service and attention to detail.

5.00Taking part in the Danakil Depressions 3 Days Tours & 2 Days Lalibela with Aman Ethiopia Tours was an excellent selection. The guides were extremely nice and attentive. They made sure we were comfortable and aware while efficiently navigating the difficult surroundings of Danakil. Similar attention to ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience was given to us at Lalibela. This tour was quite entertaining due to the excellent quality of service.
