We will start the tour here where the tour guide will introduce you to the city and explain about one of the most infamous buildings in the old town. They will then tell you stories of Edinburgh's form of entertainment. You will also be able to visit the famous Heart of Midlothian.

Here you will learn about the gruesome time that the people of Edinburgh would partake in as well as what life was like for the people living in the city during the 17th Century. You will find out about one of Edinburgh's most infamous streets which is riddled with dark history and ghost stories alike.

5.00Great experience with Kieran! Awesome tour! Was a rainy day in Edinburgh and I ended up being the only one on the tour, but Kieran was great! He let me borrow his umbrella when the rain got too much and made sure that I was always comfortable throughout. His story telling was top tier and I learned so much history. I really enjoyed my time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone that is wanting to know the darker side of this beautiful city we call Edinburgh!

5.00Our tour guide was fantastic! He gave us the dark history of Edinburgh and then shared ghost stories along the way. He was very interesting and his story telling was excellent! It was one of the best tours of our trip! Highly recommend this tour.

5.00Kieran was an entertaining, educational, and dare I say eerie guide for our Dark History and Ghost Tour in Edinburgh on the afternoon of Halloween. I spent a long time doing research on which tour we should choose based on other reviews and settled on Eerie Earth because of the smaller group size, comments that it was informative without being theatrical, and the fact that the guide is an actual paranormal investigator. I can confidently say I made the best choice! Kieran’s telling of the tales was enticing without being over the top, and he worked in quite a few moments for laughs along the way. We were also happy to support a local guide who runs his own business rather than some of the larger tour companies. Kieran is definitely passionate about promoting other local businesses and recommends additional tours, sites, bars and cafes, etc. My only wish is that we had an opportunity to talk more about his own paranormal investigations, but there wasn’t enough time!

5.00Kieran is a masterful storyteller and this tour was one of the most enjoyable I’ve been on! He combines a rich knowledge of the city with a keen ability to weave a chilling or gruesome tail. Doing this tour on Halloween night was an extra bonus. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in history, the paranormal, or the spookier aspects of life!!

5.00Absolutely loved the experience. Kieron was so knowledgeable about Edinburgh, he’s clearly been doing this for years and was able to pivot quickly between stories with skill and humour. His passion for the city and its dark history was very impressive. Pick this tour out of the them all. You won’t regret it.
