Join us on an exclusive 4x4 expedition through Kakheti, exploring places only accessible by off-road vehicle. Departing from Tbilisi, we dive into the rugged terrain of eastern Georgia, taking you to the surreal, colorful Rainbow Mountains and the tranquil Mravaltskaro reservoir - a hidden paradise away from the crowds.
Feel the timeless spirit at the Natlismtsemeli Monastery, where monks live among ancient rock walls, and stand in awe at the legendary David Gareji Monastery, nestled on the semi-desert slopes of Mount Gareji. Halfway we stop for a hearty Georgian lunch at the rustic restaurant in Udabno, a true taste of local hospitality.

During this off-road tour, you'll explore approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) on foot.
We wish to assure all our guests that this tour is absolutely safe and exclusively traverses the territory of Georgia. Please be informed that the Udabno Monastery is not a part of our itinerary, and the route leading to it is completely closed. Rest assured, even without this, our tour remains a unique and beautiful experience, offering a true taste of Georgia's natural wonders. Your safety and enjoyment are our utmost priorities.

5.00Wear good hiking shoes and dress in layers. It was worth going up and down narrow paths to see the full beauty of the rainbow mountains. Our tour guide, Salomea, and our driver, George, were the best!

5.00It is exactly as advertised. The wine testing was even beyond. This is something you must do with a guide. It requires a sturdy vehicle and a very experienced driver, who knows the area.

5.00Most of the Rainbow Mountains tours are simply a view from the Monastery. This one however includes several viewpoints and a hike (if not too muddy) and includes some offroading. I wasn't able to do the wine tasting as the winery had an event on but the tour company refunded me immediately. Jonah was a great guide and gave me a helping hand (literally!) to navigate some of the slippy paths on the hike. Lunch was delicious...very big portions and reasonably priced.
