Morning pick-up from an Amman hotel, then drive north to Jerash (Gerasa), one of the Roman Decapolis cities, known for being the best-preserved outside of Italy. Explore its theaters, temples, churches, and colonnaded streets. Next, drive to Rabad Castle (Ajloun Castle), where you'll visit the Islamic military fortress of Ajloun, once used by Saladin's armies to defend the region against the Crusaders. Afterwards, begin a one-hour drive to the Dead Sea. As the lowest point on Earth, filled with minerals with medicinal properties, it has become a popular health spa destination. The mineral-rich mud is used for therapeutic and beauty treatments. Queen Cleopatra and Sheba are said to have known its value and used it. Due to its high salinity, the water supports no life, earning it the name 'Dead Sea,' and floating is effortless. Be sure to prepare to swim and relax in the mud before heading back to Amman.

On arrival, head inside the resort (Option If Selected) and have free time to enjoy the waters and setting as you please. Make use of the available towels, and relax on the mineral beaches. Bask in the sunshine and scenery, coat yourself in mud for a revitalizing natural spa, and enjoy a ‘swim’ in the waters. Be sure to strike the classic pose of lying back and floating as you read a newspaper or book! Have a chance to relax, and there are few places better to do so than at the lowest point on Earth: the Dead Sea. Considered one of the world’s true natural wonders, the impressive body of water is fed by a collection of incoming rivers that gush to its landlocked shores. The waters are unable to flow elsewhere, so they evaporate and leave behind a rich concentration of natural salt that is attributed to the Dead Sea’s famous buoyancy. Head inside the Hotel (Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza) & enjoy free time to enjoy the water and setting as you please.
Jerash Ruins
Jerash is an ancient Roman city that is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in the Middle East. It is located about 48 kilometers north of Amman and can be reached by bus or taxi. The city was founded in the 2nd century BC and flourished under Roman rule. It was a major center of trade and commerce, and its well-preserved ruins include temples, theaters, baths, and colonnaded streets. Some of the highlights of Jerash include: The Arch of Hadrian: This triumphal arch was built to commemorate the visit of the Roman emperor Hadrian in 129 AD. The Temple of Artemis: This temple, dedicated to the Greek goddess Artemis, is one of the largest and best-preserved Roman temples in the Middle East. The South Theater: This Theater was built in the 2nd century AD and could seat up to 5,000 people. It is still used for concerts and performances today.

5.00Great day trip, everything was fantastic. Driver Bardaghawi was friendly, funny and professional. He went out of his way making sure our needs were met, plenty of cold water. Always asking if we need anything , coffee or tea. Very reliable, punctual.

5.00Mohammad Bardaghawi was amazing! He was so thoughtful during the entire trip for example by giving us snacks, beverages, and fresh coffee during the drive. We mentioned that we had not tried Kunafa, and the next thing we knew we were stopping to try the best Kunafa. We are vegetarians, and he was really accommodating. We honestly had the best veg meal of the trip with him. Any suggestion he gave added to our adventure including watching the sunset at the Dead Sea. He also made us feel part of the Jordanian Independence Day celebrations with a fire work show as we went back to our hotel. I definitely recommend this for a trip to Jordan.

5.00Excellent host and driver in Mohammad Bardaghawi, went over and above expectation to give me a real Jordanian experience. Jerash blew my mind, the castle was interesting as was the baptism place of Jesus. Loved driving through the Jordan Valley and sampling locally grown food. Mint tea is amazing! Thank you for a wonderful cultural experience!

5.00I had this tour with Mohammed Ali. The Dead Sea was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I totally recommend it! I went to the crown plaza hotel, which had great food, a nice pool, and an option to get a free mud bath after the Dead Sea. Jerash was An amazing city with lots of history! During my stay at the Dead Sea, my phone was set to Israel time and I was not aware that I was running 45 minutes late, but Mohammed was very understanding with the situation. The day before this tour, I went to wadi rum and Petra with him. I had such a great time with him that I cancelled a reservation with another company to do another day tour with him! He speaks very good English and made me feel safe and welcome. He is very funny and was great company during my solo travel here in Jordan. He also supplied water and was able to charge my phone in the car. If you have the option, book with Mohammed Ali!

5.00This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing driver, Shadi! From the start, it was clear that Shadi was more than just a driver. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the tour and its surroundings, offering fascinating insights into the history and culture of Jordan! What really stood out, though, was how attentive Shadi was to our wants and needs. He listened carefully to everything we mentioned and made sure every question was answered and every request fulfilled. His warm hospitality and friendly nature made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout the entire day! By the end of the tour, we were already looking forward to coming back for more tours with Shadi! If you have the chance, I highly recommend booking a tour with him - he’ll make it an experience you won’t forget!

5.00My tour guide/driver was Mo Alsheikh out of the 27 countries I've been to he has been the best so far. His English is so good he had no problem understanding me and me understanding him. He taught me so much about the country the history. I enjoyed his company so much till I hired him to take me to Petra the next day. He drove me the 3 hours south waited the 4 hours for me to visit Petra and picked me at the end and brought me back to the hotel in Amman. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

5.00Great tour covering the a few of the must-see sites in Amman! Shadi was a great driver and scheduled the day well. We did not know we had to make reservations to swim in the Dead Sea with a hotel, but fortunately Shadi contacted us the day before to ensure we were prepared! Highly recommend doing this tour if you don’t want to move from your hotel in Amman!

5.00Great tour, a lot of historical sites and swimming in the dead sea was an experience. Very accomodating as we forgot our swimming gear and the driver stopped at a roadside store so we could pick some up.
