Starting from Zadar, you will visit the most popular national park in Croatia in a small group with a professional guide. Along the way you will witness the beautiful nature of Croatian mountains and its rivers. The lakes and waterfalls offer many opportunities to make spectacular photos of you and your family or friends. If there's enough time, you can enjoy a quick lunch during or after the tour, surrounded by clean air and nature.

We start our tour in Zadar, where we pick-up most travelers near the peninsula or the old town, and possibly some of the hotels and/or Gaženica port, and drive by a modern and comfortable car/minivan towards the national park.

Plitvice Lakes National Park

The tour starts usually in Zadar, near the old town, with a 2h drive to the national park. Our driver/guide will take you to the entrance of the park, you will have some time for a bathroom break or to buy beverages if necessary. The local guide or your driver/guide will then take you to see the Lower and Upper lakes, starting from Entrance 1. The group will visit firstly the lower lakes, with the Big Waterfall and several smaller waterfalls, after wich usually a short break follows. The second part is the boat ride towards the Upper lakes, and a visit of one part of the Upper lakes. The group continues towards the exit with the guide, usually back to Entrance 1. After returning to the vehicle, the group can either have lunch in one of the restaurants or go back to Zadar, which takes about 2h. Stops along the way if necessary.

It was a wonderful experience. Despite the weather conditions, the company held the tour confirms contracted despite the reduced number of people. Also the guide Hrvoje was super attentive giving all the information and support throughout the tour. Also did the whole tour in Portuguese, which the guide speaks perfectly. Thanks Hrvoje for everything.

Hrvoje was punctual, knowledgeable, informative who provided a great pace for our tour. I would highly recommend him. His language skills were exceptional. He guided us through the national park stopping at the best view points! Our ride was enhanced by his willingness to share his knowledge of culture, history and politics!
