Spend an entire day full of adventures right in the heart of the Land of Volcanoes, situated just 80 kilometers from Brasov. You will be taken by car or minivan to the only volcanic lake in Romania, visit a mysterious swamp where carnivorous plants live and take a stroll through the forest to the biggest natural gas bath in Europe - the Puturosu Cave (The Smelly Cave).
End the day with a thrilling bear watching experience that you will surely remember - don't forget to take your camera with you!
In the evening you will be driven back to Brasov.

Saint Anna Lake
Saint Anna lake is the only volcanic crater lake in Romania, formed around 8.800 - 9.800 years ago. You will discover its beauty in a walk around the 220,000 m² area. You will also visit the Mohos Peat Bog (open from spring to mid autumn), where you have the chance to see hallucinogenic and carnivorous plants and a volcanic landscape.

A wonderful day exploring outside Braşov

5.00We had a fantastic day trip out of Braşov with Andra, our wonderful guide! Communication was excellent prior to the event, with a clear pick-up location agreed and checking in with us whether we were happy to proceed with the poor weather. On the trip itself, Andra was a kind, knowledgeable and patient guide. She really made the trip special and was full of information about all things România and our different stops. Each stop was interesting but the bear watching was especially incredible. Andra ensured we had the best view for our experience and nature, as always, did not disappoint. Merci Andra for our amazing day :)

5.00Great experience. Our guide Andra was amazing - very knowledgeable, interesting and she took us to some great places. We did the full day experience - a long day but definitely worth it. The bear hide at the end was of course the highlight of the day.
Wildlife watching

5.00We visited Romania to experience the country but especially to see the bears. Choosing March was the perfect time as the bears were waking up and hungry. We had a great day walking in the Land of the Volcanoes followed by the wonderful experience of viewing and photographing wild bears from a few yards away. It was a truly memorable excursion and a must for any wildlife fan. All guides (we also saw the bison on another trip) were knowledgeable, helpful and had excellent English. As I said, a must for any wildlife enthusiast!

5.00We had a wonderful day with a very competent and friendly Tourist guide (Andra). We were allowed to watch two bears. One lay directly on a country road and the second then passed by during the guided bear watching.

5.00The whole day was a delight with guides Irina and Andra who provided a great experience and information throughout the day. The Mohos peat bog and st ana crater lake were stunning. But the highlight was, of course, the bears. It was an incredible experience and we saw six bears! Can’t recommend enough!

5.00Had a fantastic day with Isti our very knowledgeable guide. Felt very safe and looked after. Seen a wild bear sunbathing at edge of forest when driving past in car and bears in evening from lookout with our guide and ranger with around twenty people, Hide easily can accommodate up to thirty with good visibility and seating also one way glass. Well organised tour and great day out packed with lots of outdoor and beautiful scenery in the mountains. Would definately do again.
Perfect day trip for those who love the outdoors!

5.00It's the perfect way to spend a day in nature. I enjoyed Lake Saint Anna, the peat-bog was very intetesting and the cave too. The highlight, of course, were the bears. I was hoping to see just one bear, but we ended up seeing about eight. We saw a red fox too. Also, Irina and Radu were both terrific guides. I would highly recommend this tour.
