Chaouen or Chefchaouen the blue pearl is a city located in the Rif mountain, in the northwest of Morocco. It is known for the remarkable buildings of different shades of faded blue of its old town.

The city of Ouazzane is well known in Morocco and throughout the Islamic world as a spiritual capital for it was home for several pillars of Sufism. It has been known also as "Dar Dmana" ("House of Safety") due to its containing the tomb of the 18th-century Idrisi Sharif. Many Jews of Morocco consider Ouazzane to be a holy city and make pilgrimages there to venerate the tomb of several marabouts (Moroccan saints), particularly moul Anrhaz, the local name for Rabbi Amram ben Diwan, an eighteenth-century rabbi who lived in the city and whose burial site is associated with a number of miracle.
Chefchaouen Medina
Chefchaouen, also known as Chaouen, is a city in northwest Morocco. It is the chief town of the province of the same name and is noted for its buildings in shades of blue, for which it is nicknamed the "Blue City". It is situated in a mountainous region in northern Morocco, between Tétouan and Ouazzane.

5.00Our tour guide/ driver, Ilyas was such a pleasure. He was kind, patient, passionate about what he does and a skilled driver. Would highly recommend Ilyas to anyone who needs a tour guide or a driver. The whole trips were at ease and we enjoyed it so much.

5.00It’s very interesting, educational, & enjoyable. The driver Kamal was very considerate, patient & understanding. The tour guide , Abdul was so knowledgeable but not just that , he made Chefchouen not just gaining knowledge of the place interesting, but exciting & enjoyable. Both were considerate & patient with me because both of them made it easy for me to manage myself due to my limited mobility. I highly recommend your company & the people that made our stay in Marrakech so interesting & exciting.

5.00A very long day but well worth it! Ilyas was a fantastic driver/guide with a wealth of knowledge & love of all things Moroccan. He was a real gentleman who took such good care of us. Baba was our Chefchaouen tour guide who was also very knowledgeable, sweet & patient. Chefchaouen was so unique & beautiful, not to be missed! I highly recommend this tour.

5.00Very accommodating tour lead by our tour guide Llyas. From the minute we were picked up to the time the tour ends, it was nothing but smiles for us, very friendly and professional service, we would highly recommend!!! Wishing to return again using their service next time we visit Marroco!

5.00Our driver was Ilyas and was knowledgeable about the countryside and towns over the 4 hour drive. Very safe also. So courteous. Bubba was our tour guide in the village and he was raised in Chef Chaouen! What a delight he was. Everyone knows Bubba and he has many stories of religion, history from 400 yrs. Ago, and recommendations. Every aspect of this is worth it.

5.00Group tour turned into a private tour for us. Both driver and town guide spoke English well. Full of information on the drive. Our guide grew up in the town and knew everyone and everyone knew him. It was a long drive from Casablanca and then back but we were glad we did the trip. I'd suggest maybe staying in Rabat or Tangier and taking the shorter drive to the town. We were flying out the next day back to USA so we didn't want to complicate it by staying in a town that is closer. Final thought - this town was the highlight of our trip. Not to be missed.

5.00Everything was just perfect. We felt in love with the Chefchaouen. Couldn't stop taking pictures. We were picked up at hotel by Ilyas, who did everything to make sure our trip was very comfortable and enjoyable. Upon arrival to the blue city we were met by English-speaking tour guide, who showed us this beautiful city. We had good lunch at a very nice restaurant. We highly recommend this tour.

5.00Spent a great day in Chefchaouen with my wife. The English speaking driver Ilyas was courteous, professional and always helpful . The local guide in Chefchaouen was wonderful, provided the information we need. This was a day well spent, we couldn't ask more. Highly recommended.

5.00We had a great tour to the blue city Chefchaouen with a super professional and friendly driver guide Ilyas in a very confortable car, he was always eager to answer and give us information to our questions. We stopped half way for a drink, and pictures. My family had a wonderful day in chefchaouen with a great english guide. We highly recommed this tour with Ilyas.

5.00The best part of our trip to Morocco was our trip to Chefchauen, and the airport pick up with Mohamed from Medina Selection, Mohamed was amazing ! he did everything to make our trips as comfortabe as possible with a lots of advices, the car was very clean, water availble, and Wifi too. I will really recommend this peoples to all my friends.
