Atlas Mountains View
Travelers depart from Marrakech and drive approximately 1 hour toward the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, they will enjoy panoramic views of rugged peaks, green valleys, and small Berber villages scattered throughout the region. The guide will point out notable landmarks and provide context about the area’s geography and local lifestyle. This scenic drive allows guests to transition from the city bustle to Morocco’s serene mountain landscapes.
Guests will visit a traditional Berber house, Dar Zite, to explore local culture and daily life. The guide explains how natural products, including argan oil, are traditionally made, and travelers can observe the preparation process. Visitors also have the option to purchase authentic products directly from the cooperative.

5.00The communication before the day was brilliant I knew exactly when we were being picked up and this all went very smoothly by Khalid, he was then our driver (the best driver we have had since being here!) and guide and he was very knowledgeable for any questions by our group. The best part of the trip for us was the hike up the mountain, he was on hand along with Abdou to ensure we were all okay and got up and back down in one piece as some parts were difficult for members of our group. They were both amazing at taking photos in the best spots and I had come away with memories for a lifetime which are captured in videos and pics! We even got snow on our hike! We then finished off with lunch and this all went very smoothly. Nothing bad to say about the trip, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would 100% recommend!

5.00I joined the Day Trip from Marrakech to Ourika Valley with Waterfall Hike by Morocco Royal Trips in January 2026, and it was truly one of the highlights of my stay in Marrakech! From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, everything was perfectly organized. The drive from Marrakech toward the beautiful Ourika Valley offered breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and traditional Berber villages. It was a refreshing escape from the busy city. A special thank you to our guide — he was absolutely the heart of this experience. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and full of humor, he made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. You can really feel his passion for the region. He shared so much about local culture and traditions, especially during our visit to the women’s argan oil cooperative, which was very interesting and authentic. The hike to the Setti Fatma Waterfalls was beautiful and well-paced. The scenery was stunning — lush greenery, flowing water, and mountain views everywhere. Our guide made sure everyone was safe and enjoying the experience, helping when needed and giving us time to take photos. After the hike, relaxing by the riverside was the perfect way to end the adventure. Even though lunch is optional, the setting is lovely and worth it. For the price (from $29.68), this tour is excellent value. Small group size, professional driver, smooth organization, and an incredible guide who truly made the day special. Thank you again to the whole team for such a memorable experience — I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Marrakech who wants nature, culture, and great company all in one day! 🌿✨

5.00We had a beautiful day in the Ourika Valley. The trip was simple, relaxing, and well organized. We enjoyed the stunning nature and had a delicious Moroccan tajine by the river. 5.00I did this full day tour together with a friend, and it was one of the most beautiful experiences during our stay in Marrakech. The drive through the Atlas Mountains was impressive – panoramic views, Berber villages and a landscape that is easy to see. The visit of the Women's Argan Oil Cooperative was very interesting. We could see how the oil is traditionally made, and the women there were incredibly friendly and explained everything with a lot of patience. The highlight for us was the guided hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls. The trail was varied and offered many beautiful photo opportunities. Our guide was attentive, helpful and made sure we could enjoy the hike at our own pace. After the hike we ate by the river in a small restaurant – the food was delicious and the atmosphere very relaxed. The pickup and return journey went smoothly, and our driver was professional, friendly and told us a lot about the region along the way. Overall, it was a very successful trip that perfectly combines nature, culture and adventure. I can recommend this tour to anyone visiting Marrakech.
