At 07h00 am depart from Hoi An or Da Nang city to Hue, on the way we can stop on the top of Hai Van Pass for a quick rest and take some pictures. Around 10ham, reach to Hue and visit Tu Duc’s Tomb. After 1 hour relaxing for lunch, we have 2 hours for discovering the Hue Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled from 1804 to 1945 including Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. After that, we drive along the Perfum River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda - the largest pagoda in Hue and the official symbol of the city. At 3h30 Pm, we leave Hue and reach to the hotel approximately 6 h30 pm.

5.00Our driver Minh arrived early at the hotel lobby to pick us up for the day trip. He planned the day very well and ensured that we are always taken care of during the entire trip. He provided water, wet towels and WiFi connection. We had a very authentic local lunch of rice rolls and noodles together thanks to his recommendation. Minh also made it a point to point out interesting sights along the journey and is very helpful with even suggestions for Hoi An and beyond. And when we realized that we left our umbrella in his boot after returning to the hotel, he went out of his way to send it back to us.
