This is an ideal tour for those who want to see the two most visited places in Iceland in one day. The Golden circle named by the Golden waterfall or Gulfoss. On the same route we will visit Thingvellir national park which is located in the middle of the Euroasian and American tectonic plate. Enjoy a walk between both plates down to valley where the oldest democratic parliament is based.
We will stop at Geyser hot spring and enjoy one of Icelands most visited tourist attraction, geyser Strokkur which blows up every 6-8 minutes. Next stop will be place such as Kerið crater, Hveragerði town. From here we are heading to Reykjanes peninsula and finally catch the Blue lagoon (entrance fee not included). This tour is nearly always private. Even if we have two or more bookings for same day, tour still will be highly privately so customers have enough time to research wonder of Icelandic nature.

5.00The golden circle trip with Andres was excellent. He cared about his clients. He knew a lot of Iceland’s history, geology and culture which he shared with us throughout the trip. He was not in a hurry to complete the trip quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

5.00Our first taste of Iceland was along the Golden Circle with Andres as our guide. Andres was terrific, he highlighted the attractions best suited for our interests and allowed us time to hike / explore as we went. He was flexible, knowledgable and made the 10+ hours we spent with him a pleasure. Five stars all around!

5.00Andres made the Golden Circle tour a great experience for us. He was on time, his SUV was clean and comfortable, he was very courteous and patient. He talked about the history and significance of each site we visited and gave us plenty of time to enjoy ourselves at our own pace. Prior to the trip he communicated via Viator messaging but eventually we connected thru WhatsApp. That helped a ton because we could communicate real time and set expectations as needed. This was supposed to be an all day tour but I think he went above and beyond because we took our time at several sites and yet he never rushed us. Overall a great experience

5.00This was a full day driving the Golden Circle. Our guide Andres was amazing. I can’t say enough about his experience and knowledge. He was flexible with stops and always asked our input while providing options. We made a short detour to a working dairy farm for some fresh ice cream which was amazing. Having a great guide on a private tour made all the difference.

5.00Great tour. Andres is a little bit opinionated, but he also knows what he's talking about. We saw some spectacular scenery, and at the end of the day, he took us on a neat tour of downtown Reykjavik

5.00Margarida picked us up from the airport and took us to the Blue Lagoon and kept our bags for us while we traveled the Golden Circle with Andres. Andres did a great job providing many details and helping our older mother accessing the sites. It was a long day for our first day of our arrival, but well worth it!

5.00We had a *wonderful* time with Andres yesterday. He had a flexible schedule for us and picked us up at our hotel (on time) shortly after we arrived in Iceland. He completely customized the trip for us—allowing us to be on our own for certain sections (like a one-way walk in the national park—he dropped us off in one parking lot and picked us up at a different lot). There’s a bit of driving between stops, and Andres was great at answering questions, and just filling us in on life in Iceland in general. In our case, we opted to not go to the Blue Lagoon, but did the Secret Lagoon instead—seems to be a better option. (We definitely enjoyed the Secret Lagoon). In no case did he ever say “meet me here in XX minutes”—it was always “stay as long as you like!” All in all, it was an excellent personalized tour, wouldn’t change a thing. We’ve done tours all over the world—he’s right up there as a top professional.
