Boat ride of Potomac River is seasonal (mid March - mid October). When the boat is not operating, you will visit the Jefferson Memorial, Air Force Memorial, and Eisenhower Memorial instead

Ticket Upgrades: due to hours of operation at the attractions, tickets will be available for the next available day of travel from your tour and entry time assigned by the attraction based on availability.

There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. DC can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.

Cherry Blossom season (typically late March-early April) travelers will have time to walk along Cherry Blossoms trees. The official Cherry Blossom peak bloom dates are announced by the National Park Service closer to the dates.

We were text the night before the tour was cancelled and to reach out for a refund. We reached out for our refund and still haven’t heard back. There were also several other tours still running that day. I’d say shop around tour buses before choosing.

Trip canceled last minute. My family and I waited at the meeting spot for an hour before calling customer service. I paid almost $300 only to have to plan last minute with another tour company. Im very disappointed. I looked forward to this for months.

This tour exceeded my expectations. Tyrone did a great job in presenting historical information and kept a friendly and enjoyable vibe throughout the tour. The timing at each stop was adequate to sightsee. I highly recommend this tour.

I added this tour because so many of the places I had planned to go were closed because of the government shutdown. Having already had a terrific tour of much of the same stuff with a great guide two days earlier, I was not expecting to be impressed. Tyrone blew it out of the water! Not only did he know his stuff, he was a very personable and patient leader. Honestly, you do see stuff you could not at night, and walking through the FDR and Vietnam Memorial sites was worth it. I also felt more like walking around the WWII Memorial during the daylight. Additionally we were enjoyed the lunch break at Georgetown Harbor and the Potomac cruise in the afternoon - things we didn't do on the night tour.
